Think about it, basically its free publicity for your urban sessions... and you get to watch hartman get drunk do urban rails and who knows what else in his tight pants... good stuff

This is even gayer then when Plehouse asked people to send in pix of their local urban rails a few years ago. I think the whole fucking point is to NOT publicize your local urban spots so that you can continue to enjoy them. As soon as you start posting pix all over the place eveyone will go session them and they'll be nobbed before you know it. Moreover, why would you want some wanna be pro to come to your town and fuck himself up on your rails, aside ofcourse, from comedic value?
 
why is it that kids will do anything these days for free shit. and i'm not being specific to this stupid contest. and who does jon hartman think he is? definitely not some awesome urban skier, or an awesome skier in any sense. anyway, tangent. back to my point. kids should have more self respect and not be such sell outs. yeah.
 
Hey. That reminds me of my upcoming "Booters Across America" tour! Here's the deal: you go out to your favorite BC spot and build a booter. Take a picture of it and send it in to me for review -- make sure you don't hit it, or track up the landing! Then I will select my favorite ten BC booters and come to your spot and hit them! I might even bring some other sponsed riders to hit it with me! If you're the builder of one of the top ten booters, you get to come with and watch, and you can even hit it with me after the landing is tracked up.

Entries are limited to the first 350, so get out to those secret spots, start building those booters and get those photos in pronto. If you don't act now, you might miss out on this amazing opportunity to have something cool you found and developed become well known as something cool I found and developed! Whoopee!!!
 
Ok i agree with what you are getting at however....i suck at rails...i will never do this rail...so why not have someone come out and hit it up? Its sitting waiting to be hit but no one has hit it and im not planning on hitting it in the near future so why should i keep it a secret? BUT now that i think about it maybe i will send it to someone else......
 
I think its a funny and good idea... I don't understand the hate. I'm sure if your rail got picked you'd be stoked to get some shots on the team page... possibly some free swag... and maybe if you're lucky a few scenes in the next movie. The other contest was super gay, true... but this one will actually involve YOU! I know I will send in some photos... but I'm local so it probably doesn't count.

not just rails- drops and ollies too anythign cool- thanks for the free publicity matt, who by the way will most likley make a stop with me. If you don't like me don't send in your rail but i will be bringing free swag to people chosen and if you are of age free beer too, thanks to PBR.

 
I was just thinking about this the other day. I have some cool ones in my town but im not nearly as good to hit them. Il try to get some picks

I think this is a great idea! Honestly, for people like me who don't have others within a 40 minute drive to hit up urbans. All my friends I ride with don't want anything to do with urban rails but would rather just hit up the mountain. So having someone who would want to go out and set up an urban hit with you is very tempting and I would do it in a heart beat.
 
^But he can slide like just about anything.. and has the knack for urban. Kid can also ollie anything or onto anything.. the drunken kid impresses me on a consistant basis.
 
theres a sixteen kink in my town that is just so sick, but one problem, i live 90 minutes away from the mountain. if hes smashed enough he wont mind the lack of snow
 
you have to be fucking kidding me. i have never seen such a douchebag of a disgrace in my life and now he has his own 'tour'. Kiddies- make sure you don't submit any difficult rails as to embarras Jon, but make sure to show his ass up when he comes to hit them. Shouldn't be too hard, I see him ski all the time. Pure embarrasement.
