Jon brogan worst super unknown ev??

Hes for sure better than all you kids hating on him. I wasn't sure about him, met the kid this summer and he kills it.
 
I hate it when people say that.... just because someone is better than you doesn't mean you can't have an opinion on how they ride.
That's like saying you can't hate Ryan Sheckler because he is better at skating than you. Or you can't hate on Shaun White because he is better at snowboarding than you.

Controversy is akin to popularity. The sheer number of Brogan threads just points to the fact that his shit is different enough for people to have a strong opinion about it. If you hate on Brogan's skiing by creating an internet buzz about him, you're only ensuring the longevity of his ski career

Brogan runs shit, wait till he has a whole season in CO under his belt
 
You can hate on Ryan Sheckler for being a whack person, not his skating though. Which is clearly what this is about.
 
is this thread a joke? i don't understand why anybody is hating on him. he slays and is one of the nicest people i've ever ridden with. it's not like he's on here talking shit so why the need to call him out?

he's a legit dude and stylish as a mother fucker. i would say that anybody hating is just jealous they aren't in his shoes...

Can you name a movie critic that has won an academy award ? Same with skiing, you can still have an opinion (and a very valid one) without having the skills the guy your criticizing has.

LDowney's got it right, I'm no fan of Brogan, but the fact he can generate a 3-page thread on NS is enough to show everyone he deserved his Superunknown victory.
 
you can still say brogan is the worst superuknown yet without hating on him and he can still be a damn good skier. SU has produced some fuckin ill doods. No hate at all just saying the past winners were better.
 
im not gonna argue with you cause i don't really care, but i think his style in general influenced or rubbed off on a lot of skiers. i am biased though cause I'm from PA but i honestly can't think of one person id rather watch ski more than brogan.

i'm not trying to start an argument, i've just never seen a single edit with brogan before today so i have no idea why everyone is on his balls
 
well hum thats just your opinion, but for real in terms of tricks its definitely the worst but in terms of style he's just destroying every single other superunknow

As far as a superunknown pick he is the worst simply because he won, and then never appeared in an actual level one movie.
 
i either haven't seen them for some reason or just not cared enough about him to see what was up. his style's sick but too much hype for what i've seen
