Jon Brogan not getting love from Dynastar?

He recently placed at Rails to Riches (2nd i think) and Dynastar hasn't said/shown/mentioned anything about it. I wuld think they would want to show what kind of talent they have coming on there team and not so much as a mention in the team update on NS where Brogan is well known. Just tryin' to see this guy not only on the map, but blow it up, saw him at Big Boulder on my first day out and didn't realize it was him until like 30 seconds after he landed his trick on a dfd (totally insane). Something just clicked and then i heard diamonds in my damn chain ringing in my ear. Then about an hour later i broke my hand, sad day. but Basically, I'm dumbfounded that there wasn't a mention by Dynastar for his accomplishment at Rails to Riches. Pistolvania, what!

coulda swore i saw him on the new dynastar skis is why, and i think his sponsor list in a recent profile i saw said dynastar too, but i could be wrong
 
he got no love from nordica so went to dynastar after winning unknown which isnt to unusual and by not posting something on newschoolers doesnt meen the showed him no "love" but i have no idea
 
he got 2nd in one comp and you expect dynastar to treat him like a superstar? chill out his time will come when hes one of the best park skiers in the game.
 
wow a bit of an over reaction but whatever. It was one of the first comps of the year u wuld think theyd be all over it, its no x games but just baffled me. Any other team update will show you when they get a rider on the podium whether 1st or 3rd y not 2nd? but it really isnt that big of a deal but i did feel it deserved a mention. So superstar... no, but a mention was def in order

but you gotta realize, he is not the shit. and their is not a lot of money in skiing these days. so you gotta think would it make more sense to put that money behind some one like Tanner Rainville, or Jon Brogen, a person who is not really know at all especially outside of NS. He got like what? 3 shots in Turbo? Yes he won Supper Unkown, but it was not as mind blowing as Tom Wallisch's was. Now that your saying he got second in a small contest, with relatively low media exposure they should spend lots of cash on him? If they were going to do that they would probably want a really good reason for why his name is not on the dew tour list, or the x-games list?
 
I agree and understand fully what you mean too, but i'm just saying some free press in the NS team update.... it is essentially FREE. (at least i think it is free). Strenio got first and line put an ad out on newschoolers in one of those little ads on the side (smaller). I know of course he did win, so i woulda thought that dynastar woulda pulled suit by wanting to flaunt there newly aquired talent. but oh well, not that big of a deal but was just something that kinda made me wonder. I'm sure its just cuz they are busy with all there guys at the dew tour and pipe comps. And i did confirm seeing a pair of dynastars in Rails to Riches vid coverage btw.
 
this is true. in a comp, do you think the judge is gonna give a big 180 a better score then a 12? no, he is big on NS just because of his style, but ask most people out side of NS and they will never have head of him
 
I here what you're saying. He's not the biggest name in skiing, but Dynastar could have at least given him a shout out, it wouldn't have hurt.

Haha they don't want to advertise that their riders ski rails because their skis explode in contact with metal
 
its because line puts all their money into advertising on newschoolers. so they use every chance they can to post something up
 
a) that shit is not free, although they probably just pay for it annually or something so putting out an individual article wouldn't cost anything.

b) he got second at a rail jam. as rail jams go rails to riches is a big deal, but in the grand scheme of things it's probably not a very big deal to dynastar.
 
I just got a call from Brogan, he told me that thanks to his recent podium at Rails to Riches, he got a contract from Circuit City. Apparently they're giving him a 64' flat screen Panasonic TV. Sounds pretty baller if you ask me.
 
Line does those thing, dynastar dosnt.

the peopel at line make some of the best ns ads and are not afraid to hype their talented athletes trought those ads.
 
HAHAHA, he won LAST YEAR, at the end of the year no less. After he won he did a ton of filming, think he coached at camp too? Does the kid even get a season to "go anywhere" and prove himself? He did also just get second in this comp, first comp he did for the season too...
 
you realize that he won superunknown after level1 had already done most of the shooting for turbo right? Wallisch doesn't have a shit ton of shots in RealTime.
