here it is boys and girls, straight from jon's cell phone....going to bed but i will upload a crapload of pictures tomorrow of the first hit etc. which should be happening sometime mid dayish

"the take off is still being worked on and is giong to be WAY steeper then it looks in the picture. We will be shaping it to a 40-44 degree angle in the AM" straight from the man himself

you'll see what the shelf is for....."in order to have an event you need sponsors....either you can use banners, or come up with a much cooler way to get it branded with sponsor logos"

jon doesn't do things without a purpose......

just wait and see, im sure everyone will be stoked on whats to come with the entire event. I've sat through all the planning and meetings this week and they are going to have some really, really cool and fun things, much more then just a big air comp

one last thing before signing off

jump is 30% bigger in height as well as width and 20% bigger in length then last year

we measure 25M so about 75ft from takeoff to knuckle, and i think but i could be way off 45ft to clear the gap?

i hope every self-respecting film company gets out to the JOI - the footy from this event is going to be insane.

Im sure there will be new tricks everywhere - can't wait to see what pep comes up with as well.
 
seems a lot of effort when very similar things are normaly done by just getting a photographer on a ladder...

i think itl be somethin more to do with the sponsors
