John Stossel - The Global Warming Debate

I didn't watch the whole video but I believe that "an inconvenient truth" should never be shown in public schools again. There are 9 scientific errors in that movie and it teaches global warming in a dogmatic and unbiased manner. Global warming is being used by politicians, hmm I wonder why politicians want you to think that they care about you and the earth??????
 
He blows just as much shit up people asses as al gore does.

Either way, gore won. The topic is front and center in the media...thats all he needed

I have my biased opinion...we all do. I read all the shit and I watched this video as well. I do look at a lot of the views. Just because I agree with one doesnt mean I disregard all the rest...thats rediculous. I just stated he is no more convincing then al gore is. That was it.
 
won might not have been the right choice of words but aside from the fact he failed at beating G-dub for pres, and that he is doing this as a career now, he got the issue front and center with the media. Thats all he wanted to do, raise awareness on the issue.
 
BUMP has anybody been watching stossel lately? he is tearing obamas agenda limb from limb on every show. Stossel would murder bill maher in a debate
 
i love how you guys are so glad that gore lied in some parts (someone show me which one, btw), so we all can go back to killing animals, burning fossil fuels and destroying ecological systems wherever we can.

havent seen the video. but if its like any of Stossel's other work. It will be nothing short of brilliance.

IMO one of the best personalities on TV today.
 
Just wondering how much credit you all would give me on my opinions on AGW, considering my education credentials are at least equivalent to Stossle's (I actually had a double major to his single focus)...

That point aside, can anyone defend why they think it matters whether we have the debate of AGW or not. I mean, shouldn't we be focused here in America on how to develop the green technology regardless? That is to say if you don't think AGW is actually happening, do you also deny the public's shifting interest in the alternative energy markets?

I'd say to the AGW deniers, you're wasting valuable time debating the causes and not just jumping on the technology development that's inevitable.

Here's something to consider, before making the claim that green-tech is not a profitable industry: what would change if the subsides given to fossil fuels and green tech were reversed. Ya, that's right, you think our fossil fuels are so cheap, but you're probably ignoring the subsidies that fossil fuels receive.

even if al gore was right, there are plenty of things humans can do to reverse global warming like using simple wave action pumps to bring nutrient rich waters to the ocean surface which MASSIVELY MASSIVELYMASSIVELY increase planton photosynthesis and thereby reduce co2... Global warming is easily reversible. there were shows on this on the discovery channel
