First off, regardless of what you think of his "steeze", you obviously don't know him personally so don't be a dick.
Secondly, the video was shot at Momentum in the summer of '08, which happened well before LJ flip-upped at West Coast sessions, so "as far as you know" isn't very fucking far at all.

well lj's flip-up was on a single rail, mcmurray's was on a transfer but done the summer before.i think lj's is a lot more impressive, and since it is lj, more stylish.

No hate is necessary for this, so what if he dresses "differently." The fact of the matter is that THIS is progression and for all I care he could've done it in a business suit.
