I hate to make another Bigj said this post, so I won't. But you talked about Kerry did and did not accomplish. What the hell? i sure hope you arent comparing his accomplishments to Bush's. Kerry's speech was very amusing. I didn't know you could fill so many lies and contradictions into one speech.

There is no way in hell that healthcare is a right. It never was and it will never be. It's not listed in the constitution so it isn't a right. I think Kerry should read it, He might learn something.

Kerry said that he was born on the west of of the hospital. Well there is no west wing of the hospital he was born in. Yet another Kerry lie.

Kerry thinks that he is such an oustanding 'war hero' but not only did he commit numerous war crimes, but 2 of his 3 wounds were self inflicted...some war hero. The reason he even volunteered to fight was because his father said it would help him later in life if he went into politics. He even took part in firing against an innocent woman, baby, and an old man. Only 2 of the 23 men that served with Kerry think that he is fit to serve as President.

All you libs are saying that Bush lied about WMD's. If you think Bush lied about that, you can call Clinton, Kerry, and many other leaders liars too. Oh, by the way, even WMD's have been found in Iraq to kill half a million people.

Kerry had a portion of his speech talking about our flag and how much it means to America and how important it is. What he failed to tell was that he took a fucking shit on that flag. He is such an arogant asshole that he would show that much disrespect to every American, especially the people that have given their lives for our country. I don't care how much you protest a war. YOU DON'T DO THAT TO YOUR COUNTRY. FUCK KERRY.

i know the GOP has painted Kerry pretty clearly as a flip-flop, and it seems like most people have bought in to it. but i have two questions:

one, how can you criticize michael more for taking things out of context when you accept the fact that he voted a certain way as a sign of hypocrisy without knowing the context of the vote. i havent studied kerry's voting record very intensely, and i doubt many of you have, but i will assure you he had a reason for all of his votes.

secondly, where in lies the problem with changing your mind? when the iraq war began, there was an overwhelming majority of americans in support of it. now, only a year plus later, it's less than 50% (thats what i've heard). are all of us americans hypocrites for supporting it at first?

no, same thing happened with Vietnam, and while Iraq is nowhere near to that extent yet, if it drags on for another 2-3 years, im sure the protestors will return.

i mean shit, who wouldn't change there mind about a war in which they later learned the two main reasons it was justified (osama link; WMDs) were lies?

of course im biased. so are you. the only way anyone can be unbiased is to not care. yes, i shouldn't put blind faith in kerry's voting record. but at the same time, you shouldn't question it unless you know all the details too.

when i hear a serious claim about kerry's voting record that makes me question the type of person he is, then i'll look into it deeper. right now, i dont have the time nor want to spend it.

obviously his voting record wasn't so bad that people wanted him out of the senate, so it couldn't have been that preposterous.

...about the WMDs and saddam/osama intelligence, two things:

one, when intelligence that important turns out to be false, you've got to hold the head honcho at least mostly reponsible.

two, iv read many reports about how lower down officials knew the intelligence about iraq seeking nukes was false and told condoliza rice about it long before bush made his speech, and advised him to take it out, but no. it was just too good to use, and heck 'we can always play it off like we didn't know'

so correct me if you will, the lies to all fall directly on bush, but its the whole bush administration that's responsible. either way, i feel he's got to go.

Well as for Kerrys voting record here are some quick facts to show i do know plenty about him.

-In a Unborn Victims of Violence Act, know as Laci's Law Kerry voted against it. He also voted three times against requiring minors to notify their parents before getting an abortion, and six votes against a ban on the late-term procedure that opponents call partial birth abortion. O and he voted 3 times against banning flag burning. HMM seems like he is a real wholesome candidate.

Not to mention in the last 20 years he has the lowest attendance in senate votes out of any member. But your right i shouldnt question his morals. And i know many ppl from his state that are pist he doesnt show up and vote becuase it supposed to be his job to represnt them.

Well he said, 'health care is a right' that pretty much means he dosen't believe or mean what he says. Health insurance isn't that expensive. They will also have to pay for their own health insurance anyways through taxes. People should just be responsible and get their own health insurance. If they can't afford it, then they should get a better job.

The only reason Kerry voted for anything in the senate was for his own intrust. He tries to persuade people by changing his opinions and morals (frequently). He is not the kind of person I want in the white house.

I have to agree, it was a good speech. At first, I was hesitant about Kerry, even though I am strongly apposed to Bush, because he seemed like a conservative democrat at first look. But he seems to be turning out fine and I know he can be trusted with america. About bushes speeches, he doesnt know half of what hes speaking, and he always smiles when he prenounciates a diffucult word correctly, cause hes like, damn, what the hell did that mean, but hey, I managed to say it, a overcame the mountain. Im so glad Im being controled by my cabinet members, this is too hard.

His daughters can't say anything so they tell a story about how their father saved their drowning hampster and performed CPR on it. C'mon, you have to have something better than that to tell the US.
