John frusciante

Red Hot Chili Peppers. Rumor has it that every solo on stadium arcadium was completly improv, as well as when he plays them live. I like "Murderers" by him though.
 
Murderers is very good, you should listen to Omission, really good stuff, and about that rumor, it may be true, Ik he does a lot of improve when they're recording
 
I was thinkin about using murders as a segment or teaser song.... and yea

John Frusciante is the best modern rock guitarist. i consider him the best since eddie van halen. hes a virtuoso
 
his style and tone is a bit repetitive for my complete respect as a guitar player. i do enjoy the red hot chili peppers a lot. but he could definitely mix things up a bit to improve his playing
 
Are you serious? WTF? You think that what you hear on cd's is the extent of his ability??? That dood is MAD-talented, he could play anyone alive into the ground, then bring them back by defeating the devil in a solo improv contest judged by demons and angels alike. Those Cats just kno what sells records, nuff said.
 
wow, settle down you all. i have seen him live, while he's not the best part of the group live, he's certainly not the worst either. i have also heard his solo stuff as well, mostly sounds like he is way too stoned to know what's going on. some people take others' musical opinions way too strongly on here, i stated my opinion and backed it up, so deal with it
 
not just stoned, and also super depressed. and i've seen him live and that was when i had the realization that john frusciante owns modern guitar
