Jobs.

Although I have what could possible be one of the best jobs ever, editing commercials for porno networks, it still gets old at 40 hrs a week. But the money is beyond worth it so for now it's alright.

i enjoy my job because its something id be doing on my own anyway.

plus im proud to tell people about it because its legit, instead of working at a fast food place or something

i check out groceries. sucks so bad you have to ask the same old questions every fucking minute and you have to act like a little bitch, "hello mam, how are you, find everyting ok, plastic ok?" fuck that shit

Pull myself by the bootstraps with what? A good ole fashion cheer? I'm telling you right now that I haven't gotten a single phone call from anyone about working.

What do you think I am? Liberal?

(Jokes.)

No, I'm just doing what everyone does. Filling out applications, turning them in and maybe even a phone call to get their asses in gear.

i just got a job at COSTCO! but really, i dont like it.

here is a run down of how my day goes:

"would you like me to box this up for you sir/ma'am?:

(dependent on answer, either put their shit in boxes, or just straight into the cart)

push cart away from register counter

grab the next cart, repeat.

for 8 hours.

sometimes i dont have to do that though. like yesterday i did a bunch of random shit (put-backs, sweeping, lifting shit, helping load cars). getting carts is REALLY nice, especially because the weather has been absolutely amazing lately.

hahahaha, yesterday i worked "security" for 2 hours, which literally consisted of sitting in my car, listening to my ipod, and texting people. i had to make sure it was "clear" to leave the building (hard to explain), and make sure no one skateboarded. i get paid $11 an hour, but sunday is time and a half, so $16.50

my first paycheck for the first 2 weeks is going to be about $940 before taxes.

Work at a ski shop. The pay isn't the best, but the discounts and being around other skiers makes it the best job you'll ever have.

i'm jobless at well. i was gone for a while after college got out and by then all the jobs around town had been snatched up. i tried.

luckily in the process i scored a house sitting job which got me $250 and i'll probably be doing that again before the summer is over. i'm fine with it because it leaves me a lot of free time to go exercise horses and help at the barn :) ....work on my farmer's tan and stuff haha

i started work today, helping out in a Heat Condenser Assembly Plant. Today I got to read a safety manual for 2 hours, spend a half hour filling out paperwork, and then worked for an hour and a half. but its not bad I get $252 Dollars A week and the work isnt gonna be hard. The funny part is the only reason im working is to buy a car, but I found out today that my aunt(2nd cousin) is seriously considering getting a new car and giving me her 2003 Nissan Altima.

so whatever, i guess i'll be getting a pair of hellbents.

im a camp counselor at an adventure camp and its a fun really job and i get paid 15 a hour. I also do carpentry which isn't quite as fun but you make more money.

i am 16 and this summer i am working 30+ hours a week doing manual labor on a farm just so i can ski this winter. why the fuck does skiing have to be so damn expensive.

construction from 6-3 every day then pizza delivering from 430 to 10 every day. then pizza delivering all day on the weekends. all so i can move to salt lake on august 1st.

word ^^^^^^ plus gas is getting really bad now. fuck those prices, we should just drill everywhere we are able too. fuck liberals.

i just applied to a place called extreme parties and i think i have a good chance of getting it becuse my good friend's cousin is basically one of the managers there. its like a place where little kids have parties and theres like laser tag and stuff like that

actually my dad honestly loves his job. he is a NYS trooper. he says its not work for him because its something he loves to do.

Right now I'm just helping out at camps belaying little kids at my rock gym.. but I don't work there, I'm just helping out when it's busy. It's wicked fun, I love it.

I need to find an actual job though, shit.

your not looking hard enough. i started working last year when i was 14 in an auto body shop making minumum wage and i hated it. i worked with my uncle in construction and made another couple hundred. now i work as a cashier at stop&shop its pretty legit, not getting too much but scrilla is scrilla.

its not bad i love both jobs and i still get to party and shit and im making maddd scrilla. plus the fact i just need to do this for another month and ill be living 15 minutes from pc and alta.

I wait tables in the summer like 7 hours a day make like 60+ a day then I get minimum wage shaping and cutting the park at my mountain in the winter and im only fifteen. Both fun jobs although i like the park one alot more

main job (full time) is with a local non-profit organization. I'm responsible for writing proposals for projects that we're doing (basically asking foundations, companies, government agencies for money), following up on donations with reports, etc etc. not a bad job, pretty laid back for an office, and is great for experience and looks great on my resume, but i'm not the type to enjoy being in an office, so it's getting more and more tedious. Second job is doing freelance photography for a weekly newspaper in a small town about 1/2 hour outside my city, which i'm loving. I usually get about two assignments a week. That's the one I get excited about.

costco treats their employees well at least, sure it may be boring (haha, maybe you'll be in charge of a sample stand soon), but they pay well, and if you work full time (not just for summer) they actually have good benefits, especially for simple work.

at the moment i'm an intern at a big medical diagnostics producer, and it pretty much sucks... it's boring, but then again im on NS half the day so it could def. be worse. But in the winter i'm the park manager at my local hill so that's pretty much the best job ever ::mega claimage::

Do you know how many kitties they kill each day? I work at Wegmans, and I hate it...except when your there Shane.

hey man..i work at mcdonalds. its such a shitty job. but when my prick managers arent working its pretty fun. we fuck around sumtimes. like for example at 10:00pm we basically close and say that our systems are down and they can come back in 20 mins. (we're open 24/7)

hah yea man that was my first job, it fucking sucked most of the time

good part was there were 17 of my close friends working there too so it was more like chillin and doing work than just grinding through the day. we spent most of our time trying to make things to smoke out of, like the ketchup pump upside down made a crazy sherlock, and it had a screen already

i wash dishes, it's really not that bad, but i don't look forward to it.
the food is great and so is the money

i love my job. it's so easy and relaxing. I fill orders in a book warehouse. I walk around and think of absolutely nothing all day and get to listen to music. It's good exercise and I get paid well. Can't complain. Why would anyone dread going to work. Unless there is something planned that day and you were really looking forward to it I can understand but getting paid for really not doing much isn't that bad.
