The ones where you can make a good living at are all in sales or management. Most of the management jobs require a few years of experience with hotels or other resorts. Once I get out of law school i am going to try to find a job in the industry.

Where did you find it?

I don't know. I was too excited. We're in the Lesbian stronghold

I really want to be a photo/film guy. I mean you get to fly out to shibby locations with the best skiers in the world, then shoot pics at it. And get payed, every day your not shooting you coul ski...

I dont know, those guys that set off avies get up at like 4am and do thier job partly in the dark, no matter how cold/shitty the weather is. You could maybe get a job in advertising, sales, marketing etc. That shit sounds ok, I mean you get to work with skis and stuff and get to go to the industry trade shows and functions and what not.

It's not always the ski patrol who do the avalanche control. One of the coaches in my club worked at Nakiska last year and he set off some of the charges and he was in the customer service dept.

yeah it's true. at my mountain the ski patrolers don't get anything. oh they get the respect and the free season pass. sounds good to me. not.

I'd rather do anything else

keep skiing

Yeah Ski patrol would be ok if you just wanted free skiing.

If you want money you could be a lift operator or work at the base lodge or something.

when life gives you a lemon throw it at someone

Birdy Birdy in the sky, why'd you do that in my eye, I wont fret I wont cry, I'm just glad cows dont fly.

sort of like a ski bumb, but then you wouldn't be able to have that much time to do jumps and hang with your friends

keep skiing

lift operator would suck in my opinion sitting there while it pukes out loading people onto the lift so they can go ski away all your powdie. nah no thanks I'm all about the night jobs or the one that you work in the summer and go on E.I. in the winter. But I'm not really practicing what I preach going to school and all but when I was bumming it up I worked in the deli at night in IGA in Whistler and stocked shelves at night. It wasn't the best job in the world but it kept me on the hill and made me some money.
