Jobs=money=skis

alright so hears whats up..ive been working 2 jobs for a year now and im so ready for it to start snowing again (yes i know its the middle of summer) so i got a great deal on jjs and bought them but now im looking for a 100% park ski...ive narrowed it down to a few skis..but im mostly on large kickers rails and all sorts of jibs..

Reviews, opinions, and other skis...go head fire away

by the way im looking for it to be light as well..thanks

id say thalls or ghettos. thalls are flexier than ghettos if im not mistaken. they're both light and durable from what i've heard. i think the ghetto has more sidecut. i have no idea about pop.

i've skied all of those you mentioned and ghettos are my favorite by far. my only question is why in the hell are you looking at 174's? step up to the long johns.

snowtrails is like a little over two hours from cincinnati. but yeah man, for being nearly six feet tall, you'd be on ice skates with 174's.

holy shit dude! that's fucking tiny! i'd still advise going the full nine yards. you'll get used to them in five runs and then you'll have a ski that's the right size, instead of going from something way to small to something that's just too small.

hey! i ski perfect north too! i'd totally go with the ghetto's silencers are too flimsy for an expert skier. the ghettos are perfect. especially if you get the matching white p12's. come see me up in the loft shop sometime if you want a deal

THall- Ask Fujative09090, he has them. Ive heard that that theyre amazing skis.

Invader- idk my bff jyl?

Ghetto- Get those

silencers= heavy

07 T-Hall 176

they're pretty light. my brother has them and they're dope. they're just too soft for my likings. i have the scratch wrs (same shit as ghetto) and they're perfect. i'm pretty much right on your size (i'm 5'11" 175) and i couldn't ask for a better midwest park ski. mount them -1 from true center. you'll be stoked.

oh this years wrs is the same as the ghettos, well then, im same size as both of you and i ride 181 at true center, they are such a sick park ski, wish i mounted them -1 or -2 but w/e they are super poppy and super light, they are also really durable. such a sick ski

if its a 100% park ski, for big kickers, I would go AR6, ot T-hall. The t-halls MIGHT be too soft, but its all up to you. Both would be a prime choice man. Are you thinking about going 181? Im 5'8 and went from a 158 scratch pro to a 176 t-hall, and it wasnt so bad to start. A few runs on them, and they fest sooo sick. I love the added length!

i know its not on your list, but i would strongly advise fischer addict pros 181

they would be perfect for you, addicts are the sickest park skis ive ever ridden.

Yo, im your size and wieght...

check out the 4frnt STLs for pure park... they are really sick, the 177 is what i ride.

Invaders blwo ass, they shouldnt be on your list compared to those other skis.

yo its a rough descision but im gonna order tomm because if i dont order now i wont do it...im leaning towards ghettos or the invaders they seem super fun..any more input about these 2 skis?

All of the skis you suggested are soft. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you want to get the most out of your skis while jumping, I suggest something stiffer like the Chronic.

i ski 182 TMs and i too am 5'10" but my thunder thighs weigh me down to 180. you'll be fine with the mid 170s size, your not that heavy and as long as you get a solid ski you won't sacrifice much stability (ie don't get noodles like fujis).

Wait, two jobs for a year to afford skis? You must have two shitty ass jobs.

But some ar6s 181s would be dope.

nah i got a girlfriend and gas is shitty not to mention my backyard set up new pants helmet and boots...skis was just the last and most important thing on my list

i'd have to disagree, i'd rather have good boots that where molded and all that nice stuff and get mediochre skis than spending all my bank on pricey skis.

yeah i always forget about those. they're a bit softer than the ghetto, but totally rad. another really sick choice would be the 180 tnk. i rode those a decent amount last season (rep demos) and they're quite possibly the strongest park ski i've been on. they don't feel as snappy and easy to use as my rossis, but they're damn solid. super wide underfoot and really stiff.

ive riden fujis i dont like them...im really liking the invaders and ghettos and the chronics..

buying soon so anymore input would be soo legit

it sounds like u got money so throw the silencers out of that equation...as for the other skis I cant compare since I dont know how the 08s are...but I would say T-hall for know

if you want a flexy ski go with the t hall- i got a chance to ride next years ghettos around this year and loved them. I deffanatly recommend these if your gunna hit big booters, the t hall flex makes it a little easyer to wash out on a big landing if you dont lande perfect, ghettos got a faster base then last years scratch and have a really nice flex. I rode them with some adjustable bindings so they felt a little heavy but with some px12s or something i bet they are just as light as the thall
