Joanna Newsom: Best Singer/Songwriter of our Time?

For sure, I first listened to her stuff and was like, ..... what is this shit?. then after listening to it more and more, I really enjoy it. Crazy on the harp too, which is a pretty gnarly instrument to learn, let alone sing while playing it.

I do like her. But I think John Darnielle is the best Singer/Songwriter of our time. He's the guy behind the Mountain Goats. Take some time and listen to some of his albums (The Sunset Tree & All Hail West Texas are two of my favorites).
