JJ's vs. Bacons

i searched for a thread like this before, but no dice.

i've been racing up to this year, i have invaders as a park ski, and i'm going to be skiing mostly at whistler. I'm 5,10 and 150 pounds. I was originally set on the bacons, but i might be wanting early rise now, despite never trying it. I also am concerned if the 185 jj will not be long enough for me. Has anyone tried the new jj's? are they a controllable rocker? also- would it be worth it to but an at binding on the bacons?

if you could help me out here it'd be awesome/

I have JJ's on the way, i rode them a few days last year. I have never been more impressed by a ski-ever. I had been riding EP Pros and Hellbents all year, which are fun in POW but bad on chop and groomers. The JJ shreds anything, groomers, crud, pow , trees, and they are super light. The tail is much stiffer than the HB or EP which i love. And for AT, i am putting a marker duke on mine.

Holy shit! I hadn't checked out this years JJ until I saw this thread. I had no idea they were doing rockered for the JJ, thats tight. I have last years JJ's 188, they are fucking SICK skis. I thought I would hate them on the groomers and stuff like that but they are actually incredible. They are a bit tough to carve with at first since the sidecut is so minimal, but these skis are fucking NUTS, you can haul ass on them. Super super light despite being pretty long skis. I'm about 6'2" and wouldn't have minded a slightly shorter ski for tight woods. I'm curious about the redesigned JJ.

and that would be why i just bought a pair 5 min ago. The Bacon is a great ski, very well rounded ski but the only issue for some people is how soft the ski is. Not saying the JJ is a stuff ski, but its a bit stiffer then the bacon.

ill be mounting my JJs with some Dukes today as well. One of my roommates has 09 JJs so we are definitely fans of em~
