JJ's or Sir Francis Bacon

looking for a powder ski to use in and out of bounds, something that would work well for some backcountry touring, backcountry jumps, and powder days

jjs are stiffer, bacons are super soft. jjs are probably better all around though especially if you do bigger cliffs and lines

maybe something more like a ant or a prophet 100 or last years seth or obsethed

because if you are touring im pretty sure you are going to want a ski with less rocker because you want to have as much ski in contact with the snow for grip, and i think those skis would be a little more versatile than jjs. however ive never ridden or seen specs on the jjs, ive seen them and they just look very one dimensional.

If you plan on touring there are better options out there then those two. The older JJ's would be better, Prophet 100's would be better, Volkl Gotamas would be better. It's a pretty long list. If you have your heart seat on one of those two I would go with the Bacons though.

I think I'm going with the Bacons this year. From what I've heard they aren't as soft as older bacons? can anyone shed any light on that?
