Rail Jam Friday February 24th

Hancock, MA: Jiminy Peak will host a Rail Jam at 7 PM on Friday, February 24th. It will take place in the area of the Small Terrain Park, at the base of the Grand Slam trail. The event is presented by Potter Brothers Ski and Snowboard. There are a number of great prizes up for grabs including a pair of skis and a snowboard for first place in their respective categories.

The competition is open to everyone but entrants should have experience on rails. Information and registration is available online at http://www.jiminypeak.com/misc/events.html. The entrance fee is $25 for non-season pass holders which includes registration and a lift ticket. The entrance fee for season pass holders is $12.

Potter Brothers Ski and Snowboard has four locations in New York state including, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and Middletown as well as the store at Jiminy Peak. MY ASS EARL! o and i was kidding about the cork 630. but seriously this kid will dodge.. most craziest rail rider ive ever seen... check him out in the upcoming movie... "I like them long and hard" a rail only movie. I was watching this kid ski 2day hes amazing. i was talking with him he said he wasnt sponsored because his first comp is ganna be like the VT open and he wants to win the 1st one he enters. I watched him throw a sw cork 3 double true nose 2day. and on our biggest rails (30 feet) he did a HUGE rodeo 450 over the down flat of this and he was prolly like 20 feet off the rail. it was nuts.. everyone watch out for this kid!

gaps on would be soooo intense....ive really never seen a gap more than 2 ft onto any raiil..even in pro skier movies....and if were talking about hitting rails with gappers...i would be way to frigeen scared for that...so idk if i should enter the comp..should i guythzzzz?!
