No, this isn't a racist remark. This is about jigs for mounting.... What are these things worth? I got some at a yard sale for cheap, and i just wanna know what they are worth so i can put em on e-bay.... They are in my car right now, ill figure out what ones they are/pictures later tonight.

Thanks

I think i might actually.... Ill go get em now and get some pictures so you know what you are buying...

That is to say that i have no idea from what generation they would work for....

dam dude, those things are worth alot. the tech at my shop said that theyr like three hundo new or somthing like that, obviously it depends on the jig, but yeah there esspensive. if you have the bits they use to drill the wholes, those things are money too

I've been looking for those and i figured that i wouldn't ever find any so i gave up and am selling my jigs

Aftere looking at them, i have 2 jigs. One look/rossi, one solly.

Experts, tell me what they are for.

Solly

You know you can buy those at home depot, lowes or basically any hardware store, they dont need to be ski specific, just the right size.

True, however the ski specific ones stop at the right depth, that way you don't drill through your ski. also they go in perfect because they are guided by the holes in the jig (the actual drill part is smaller than the hole) so if you were to use a bit you picked up at a local hardware store chances are that you'de be off in drilling the holes.

wow thats a sick find man. not only does that look one appear to possibly fit pivot/fks heels but if the nova series heels(green holes) have remained unchanged then it should work for px12/axial 2 binding as well. the look/rossi jig at my shop uses the same holes for the nova and px12/axial 2 heels and im pretty sure the toes have the same pattern for axial(pivot)/nova/px12/axial 2.

Ya, i am not discrediting you at all.

I just know so little about jigs and such, i dont want to say something to mislead a NSer.

I used a longer shafted bit and put the jig around the sidewall with the rubber grommets off. Not the greatest solution but it worked. Bear in mind this is an older pair of fks i put on there. The ones with the yellow and black toe pictured on the jig. Im not sure if the pattern is the same for the newer toe.

Funny.. how come I was able to mount both the Axial 120's I have, as well as my buddy's FKS 155s with that same jig eh?

the purple holes in the back work for both. Trust me.

The heel might work but i am almost positive the toe holes on this one are different than the current look toe.

Hate to say it Dingo, but you're wrong...the holes for the FKS heel definitely are NOT the same as the pivot...one of the first mistakes I made when I started mounting my own gear was thinking they were the same and drilling using the jig...and I had to drill the other holes like 2mm from the first set to make them work, they've held up fine, but the FKS abd Pivot heel are absolutely different.

Really? So they can do the bindings with the self adjusting wings as well( z12, STH12, c608, intuition, etc) . I know those can to the s916 style bindings ( s912, s914, s916, s920, 900, s810, 800, STH16).

Then what the hell hole configuration WOULD you use for the pivot and axials?

Maybe I used a different jig.. I do own two of them...

that is the Look pivot jig so. its a classic, anyway, its t worth much maybe 100 bucks to someone who wants it, endless mounts and not having to go to the shop every time is worth it.
for the drill bits, go to your local shop and just ask for an old one, it ill be fine as long as it is kinda sharp.
Shop tech will give it out they usually have a bunch laying around.
