Jibskate? Worst Idea

honestly at my school we used to have this like outdoors class thing. and in the winter all we did was xc ski on this golf course and if we had twin tips we could have been doing 5's and 180's but all we did was like 360 with grabs. also on rsn i saw some dude doing pretzels on xc skis. its fun, try it.
 
people probobly said the same things and twin tips. snowboarding and sking arnt supposed to mix. dont be a hater. this shit might get huge, who knows
 
hahahaha im sorry but i almost flipped the chair back laughing when i saw those things. they're fucking death traps! who would come up with that and honestly thing it was a good idea???
 
The only plus of these things would be messing around on a local sledding hill where u can get the speed u need for like your own little rails or whatever. but what i wanna know is will mountains let u on the lifts with these things. or will they laugh in your face and send u down to the rental shop
 
its almost like the same idea as those soap shoe things a few years ago, where you could like "grind" rails and stuff with shoes on. I just don't really get it. If xc is supposed to be like jogging or solid exercise in winter, why would you want your jogging to be "eXXXXtreme"? My vote is for Jibskate = Gay as AIDS.
 
If these "jibskates" are as good for racing as a normal pair of xc skis then i think its awesome. But if they arent as fast in races as a normal xc ski with a tail then it would be incredibaly stupid to buy another pair of XC skis to "jib" on...if you can call that jibbing
 
if i was an xc skier, i would kinda want twin tips but i wouldnt go on a mountain with them. i would just do just on a cross country trail
 
Whatever, its a skate ski with twin tips. I'd use that if I skated, I wouldn't take it on a mountain or anything, but it'd be fun for screwing around on the downhill parts of a trail. People hated on snowboarders when that started up, people hated on skiers in the park when that started up, who knows, this could end up gettin' big, Fischer says they've sold 140% more than expected.
 
I seriously hope those "jibskaters" in the movie got a whole bunch of cash, because riding those in public is really a sosial suicide!! xD
 
cross country is soo gay... if xcountry skiiers wanna ski park they should jus get tele bindings which are sooo much sicker
 
that is the worst idea ever, get some touring bindings if thats what you want to do

but then again, its european, so we may never know why somone actualy made these

i could see some swiss kids getting 270s on in some remote alps town though
