seeing as how kimberley doesn't have jumps we have made our own park out of bounds, could we use that?or is it considered a backcountry booter

I would say after this one...not all mountains have good jumps yet soo give it another week or 2 then require all shots to be from the year 08.

More people should enter... I mean come on whats the harm?

We'll start requiring shots from this year after things have gotten built up a bit more. How do you guys think we should police that? I mean honour system only works if everyone trusts each other, perhaps like you've got to wear an armband or like wave your arms in a certain way?

I guess when we launch a round that requires a shot from this year we can just set something that you have to do at the beginning of the shot... would that be annoying to shoot though?

 
I think just do the honor system. your not gunna nail a trick everytime and having to do something everytime on camera is sorta annoying.

i think the honor system would work just fine since were all just doing this for fun
 
As soon as my pal arrives here from the states Ill have him film me in the park for the day and we'll see if I can get some good footages. Thats the day after tomorrow so If I film a trick Sunday does that give me enough time?
 
nah that would be east just have whoevers filming say the date of the shot then keep it rolling and don't cut it

i think these comps are sickk! props to NS. Itd be cool later in the season to have more complex comps varying away from just tricks. Stuff like filming competitions like best follow or best line would be real cool, or even somthing like "best 30 second short edit."

For the next online comp, in the spirit of superkangknown, i vote having "best KANG" competition. bishop, you know youd be down for that!
 
it exactly,it counts if your shooting with a pro filmer and getting shots to use, as long as they werent featured in the film.

well i finally uploaded my entry for this week, but please don't rate my vid based on picture quality, cus it's horrible.
 
wow, that is a serious douche move, especially considering that ceds trick didn't make the cut and it doesn't matter who is behind the lense, but rather who is in front. congrats on being a gaping asshole for screwing with this contest.
 
Jesus man, that isn't what these are about. I mean its a contest for who has the best trick, and just as Jibjib said, its about the best skier not the best filmer.
