Jibij carrying dynastar

when dynastar gets even mor popular and is one of the top skiing companies then jibij will notice that there is a possibility for making mad cash....so they will take in dynastar, hoping to make money in the process...they simply are not big enough yet...most liklye becasue the trouble makers, their "main" twin tip ski, falls apart....

I don't think this will happen anytime soon, but anything's possible I guess.

i heard dynastar offered jibij a pro model ski and they still turned them down untill they start making more durable skis, or something.

My weiner is probably harder than yours.

why should jibij carry dynastar when every other ski shop in town carries the trouble maker? especially when specialty carries it and they can just knock down the price all the time.

also josh HATES dynastar and the skis, so that might be a reason aswell

Josh does'nt hate Dynastar at all. The point of the Jibij shop is to promote and sell brands that are inovating all the time. Companies like Line and Armada for example have released new products every year to improve quality and design.

Dynastar has had two models of twin tips since the beginning, the Concept and the Troublemaker. These skis are great, people are stoked. However, with a little more focus on R&D rather than just cosmetics the product could be better.

Josh is into pushing the brands that spend time and money on developing a high quality product that is new and fresh.

...he died doing what he loved. He will always be rememberd as a great snowboarder, but more importantly as a great friend.

In loving memory of Josh Malay.

its a core shop, they carry more core brands than big ones. if you want TMs go to BS Deals. If you want to support a 100% freeskiing company go with Armada Line 4FRNT at Jibij. Plus its his shop and he sells a lot of skis so he is doing something right. I wantt them to carry Ninthward too, but i think it takes a little more than a phone call to get that done.

im not saying he shoudl carry dynastar. im just saying that if hes looking for durability, 4frnt is pretty shitty

insert "ninthward" for "dynastar" and that's probably a main reason they aren't carrying ninthward.

plus, their business ethics seem, well, unprofessional.

I have seen one pair of broken 4FRNTs. They were at Jibij and it was a pro rider that was using them (pro=harder rider=more boken skis). I have seen far too many TMs with their edges blown. While the number of TMs is MUCH higher than the number of 4FRNTs on the slope I still firmly believe that any 4FRNT ski could hold up better than TMs in almost all circumstances. Its obvious that 4FRNTs delam more than they should (Josh told me why I just dont remeber, I think it was a problem in how the glued the topsheet on) but atleast they dont use tinfoil for their edges. I have heard that other than their edges tho TMs are great, so hopefully they can get that straightened out and they will be good to go.

ok, someone mentioned that if jibij carried dynastar they would rake in 'mad cash'. sure lots of people buy salomon/dynastar and it could make jibij more money. but....obviously jibij cares about the customers and doesnt try to sell people cheap shit that sucks balls. if he wanted to rip people off hed carry every single brand. josh is awesome, he doesnt try to sell you the most expensive ski, he asks you what kinda ski you want then figures out what is best for you. so basically josh cares about his customers..the end.

PS: dyna sucks

I've talked to Josh about this before and believe me, he's got very good reasons not to carry Dynastar. I think the company will have to change it's mindset before he'll stock their skis.

Plus, like others have said, Josh cares about the industry and his customers. If he's not carrying a company's skis, you can bet there is a very good reason. If you want to know what that reason is, just ask him, it's not like he's going to not tell you.
