Jiberish Summer '12 Collection

if you're talking about the beige corduroy i believe that's the new pusher, or a new version of it, cause it definitely has a grey hood and grey sleeves

16-23 year olds in Colorado certainly love their coke. And if you drop the "D" in powder you have a hoody that says "White Power" on it, which is pretty cool

far too lazy to search..has anyone received their summer 12' products yet?

I ordered two tanks and haven't gotten them yet.

Can't wait for Mitchell and ness snapbacks. Best fitting hat I've owned I love them. Starter collabs fit kind of weird.

serious question: why does it seem like all the raw denim progress pics ive seen seem to develop holes in their jeans in as short as like 6 months to a year? if im going to drop major bank on a pair of jeans i dont think they should develop holes in them especially since they are supposed to be thick heavy duty jeans. and just to clarify ive owned raws before but i always wash them once i get em to shrink em and also so they get out most of the excess dye. i dont want em to end up looking dirty and ripped/torn plus i wear em to the office and i think a crisp dark pair is better than some filthy shit a construction worker would wear

some denim is created specifically to fade quickly and well. see: N&F (not including their weird shit, like the 18 and 21oz jeans..), Nudie, Newer APC lines, et al.. basically the brands you see talked about on the hypebeast forums or here are cheaper, designed to fade quickly so you see results, but because of this they also are accompanied by blowouts, etc. Higher end brands, and heavier denim in general, takes longer to wear, and are more durable. Brands that you see tossed around on StyleForum or SuFu tend to be of a better build quality and last longer, but also take longer to fade, which some see as a positive, while others view it as a negative.

It also depends on how you wear it. If you wear jeans to the office very day and then out drinking, they are going to show wear in the knees and seat, because of all the sitting, and not much else, but a pair thats used during sporting (skating, whatever), or day laboring, is going to show wear everywhere, and be especially susceptible to things like crotch blowouts or blown knees, thighs, ripped hems, and so forth.

The momotaro denim we are using is definitely in the latter category of denim, something that will last through years of wear, but won't show fading a few weeks after purchase like Nudies do.

If you're wearing a pair of jeans for 365 days, for everything you do, they're inevitably going to get holes in 'em. Especially if you, for example, always have a phone in your left front pocket. 365 days of abrasion is going to put holes in your denim no matter the quality.

They really shouldn't look dirty unless you do dirty things with them. If you want crisp, dark jeans with no fades, you should probably just pick up a pair of regular levis with no fades - raw denim has a different purpose.

They also are selling these tomorrow online and in stores friday

i gots small feet so anywhere from 7.8-8.3 will work for me! been looking for an excuse to buy a new deck and one with tyson on it? no brainer

XL shirts/tanks fit pretty much to traditional jiberish size. 2x chambreezy is dope, front and back length are the same this time. shirts and tanks are unbelievably comfortable and soft. snapbacks fit the same as the three they did last summer.

im sure ill get hate but i really didnt care for this design. reminds me a lot of 8bit gnar which was kinda love or hate for most. i just dont like small intricate designs. and im sure it will be 50 bucks like the lohi ones were. and if you really want to be able to see the word jiberish while your skating then get some clear grip tape

well yeah. although i didn't think about it being pricey-er. Wasn't their last deck pretty average priced?

well not like huge big, just bigger than my zephyr ans starter ones I have. my brother has a smaller head and its perfect on the very first (last?) snap

could someone tell me the width of a medium tanktop? they dont list their dimensions on the jiberish website

just got my stuff, unfortunately my ruffled up white tank had some bad stains/discoloration stuff in a few spots so i'm going to try to exchange it
