Jiberish Summer '12 Collection

well, can't give a detailed response without a detailed question... if you meant in terms of prior years drops then why not say so?

kids these days...

you're response was some lame ass attempt to flame me, with no regard to my original question. and while were assuming things, i've been active on this forum since you were in diapers.

I really wish this trend would stop. 5 panels look like shit on pretty much everyone that wears them

not really feelin these...they scream supreme

Newschoolers literally might be the least knowledgable on streetwear of all time. Camps have been big in streetwear for a while now. Not just Supreme, everybody. Even the more expensive lesser know brands like Norse have been doing camps for a while. Jiberish = streetwear. So Jiberish will make camps. Stop looking for 10xl hoodies with giant geometric patterns and learn some damn fashion sense.

Hype Hype Hype and then when it all comes out it will be ugly and fit bad... But I will still get something

god why is ns so stupid. no....its safe to say that ~90% of 5 panels from tons of brands a have a small patch sewn on the front. google 5 panel hat, i dare you. this is similar to how ~90% of fitteds and snapbacks have thick embroidered lettering on them. what are you gonna do next complain because their jeans have 5 pockets just like levis? its an established style that tons of companies have accepted. It doesnt mean anyone is copying anyone else. supreme wasnt the first to take a shitty 5 panel put a godawful print on it and sew a tiny unreadable logo on, and jiberish wont be the last to do so either. im sick of every damn jiberish thread turning into a supreme comparison

those are rad. The one on the left kind of reminds me of The Quiet Life.

Note to Jiberish, if you take customer requests into consideration: I really want to see a patterned snapback camp cap.

they have a very limited market and demand with the way that they were before, and as you may be able to tell, it is splitting apart into people who are into real streetwear, and people who still want baggy shirts and sweatshirts and to look "thugged out", and the place for them to expand and grow more, and the place where the people who run and work for the company are is the streetwear side of things.

I think you've just greatly contradicted yourself. I don't think that either of the camp caps that you were commenting on are "generic" or "boring", or that very much well done streetwear is either. It may all be somewhat similar, but that is what happens when people follow trends and styles, and it really doesn't all look the same.

i wouldnt wear them because im not a 5panel guy, but i dont hate them.

im happy with direction jiberish is going and i think they are smart for doing so. their older, crazy stuff werent things that you could wear out in public without looking like a punky kid or something imo.

also, if they wanna stay in the game they gotta do whats hot.

example; when they started selling dvd players, everyone stopped selling vcrs and sold dvd players. sure people still have vcr tapes to play, but nobody wanted to buy that old news shit when this hot new item was out
