Jiberish Store Opening in Boston

I live close to the Jiberish Store and the warehouse I have actually talked to the owners and founders. The biggest places they send most of the stuff to is COLORADO, UTAH, EAST COAST

Therefore it would make sense having locations in all three of those locations. Also having it in Boston is a extremely good idea. Considering Boston isnt fully dedicated to skiing or in a skiing area. WHICH therefore would expand the brand.
 
I was walking on the same block as the jiberish store in denver and i caught a sniff of a aroma coming from the roof and it told me the exact adress of the next store
 
I imagine the rent would be a little high considering the relatively low volume of merchandise they sell. but if they did this i would be so happy
 
Was in the LoHi store this past fall and Pete said that Boston was one of the major considerations for the next store so I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. PLus the crew was just in Boston a few weeks ago which would point to then looking for their next spot. I live 20 min from Boston so I'm already getting pumped
 
If they do in fact add a store in Boston (specifically Newbury street where most higher end clothing stores are located) it is to expand their brand to a different market aka not skiers. Moving to Boston looking to attract a skier only clientele is stupid and you are an even bigger idiot to think they would do such a thing. I personally know the owner of a popular clothing store in Boston on Newbury street and from what he sells, I would say that Jiberish could be very successful if they stepped their game up. I may actually end up in Boston next year and would definitely stop by a lot, despite the fact that I don't wear Jiberish.

I heard this same thing when I went into the CO store over the summer. The dudes there said they sell most of their gear to people in the Boston metro already.
 
not all of boston has high rent, at least compared to newbury st that is. for example most boutiques are not even on newbury, but rather in allston, down town crossing, or cambridge... would rather see awol on harvard ave carry jiberish then a straight up jiberish store.

that being said if they opened a jiberish store on newbury st it would be pretty lame. i hate that area
 
i'd be very surprised if they opened something on newbury st... way to trendy for them
 
Newbury is pretty lame, but it has help make a lot of brands successful - KarmaLoop, Johnny Cupcakes etc.

 
im pretty sure your just a fucking idiot. Pete started the company with the vision of creating a streetwear company FOR SKIERS. its branched off clearly but that doesnt make you less of a retard.
 
Damn, that'd be nice. Wondering if it's going to be newbury street are, or harvard square/brattle street, that seems like a more do-able idea. Annnnnnnnnnnnnd concepts (brattle street) is moving out of there OG store, sosoososososooooo possible location?
