Jiberish Store Opening in Boston

Was in the Park City store over break, told the guy working there we were from boston and told us the next store is opening in Boston

say what?

I live only 10 minutes away from big store streets like Newbury street...I will be so happy if one opens here.

I'd say it's a very reasonable place. Not because there are tons of skiers who will buy it, but if they're trying to break into the clothing boutique street wear thing Boston (more specifically newbury street and surrounding areas) is the perfect place to do it. And living in Massachusetts I'm certainly happy about the decision if it's true.

Not really, there's two out west already and the store would be a great fit in Boston where they would get a lot more exposure to a different market.

i talked to Pete in denver like 3 days ago and he said they were looking for a spot in boston and were working with Nick Martini's dad because he's an an architect or something along that line but I think they're still looking for a space.

well i heard that tom wallisch is going to work there to pay his bills, ea ski is also going to be free with every piece of jiberish bought in there as well, well that was what i was told anyway when i spent 1 billion dollars in there last week

I love the brand, but they would never survive in a place with other legit streetwear names in NYC. GLad they decided to pick a watered down major city...

no shit... NYC is literally the shopping capital of the US. but how many skiers are in new york? probably not as many as in mass, nh, vermont, and maine who would all rather commute to boston than nyc. its a completely understandable location.

well obviously, but a company store is usually lower prices and alot of people up here commute to boston at least a few times a year anyways... not to mention the business from hoodlums in the area discovering a new company. once again, its a really smart placement of a store considering they get traffic from said hoodlums, kids who saw the clothing on the mountain and see it again in boston, newschoolers looking for a cool store when they're in boston, along with just randoms.

you obviously struggle with what Jiberish as a brands aim is. It's not to supply steezy skiers, its to provide streetwear that competes with other current brands. Or maybe I'm just confused.
