Hey, just wondering if anyone from the UK has got their collab hoodie yet? I know i chose the 1-3month shipping option but was just wondering if anyone had got it already.
 
I wanted to order the hoody but the delivery options are so ridiculous that it defeated the purpose. If I can send my friend a hoody for birthday to the states for under £20 and it arrives in two weeks I feel professional clothing companies should be able to do the same.

I'm not having a rant at NS I just feel that North American clothing companies (no matter how small and independent really fail their fans in Europe and further afield.
 
Shit im in park city, utah a state away from Colorado and i still dont have mine, and newschoolers isnt replying to my emails..
bout to make a Callout on NS about NS.
 
Its being sent from Canada and Canadian post have awful international rates, thats why its so expensive. I havent got mine yet, there is no tracking on the package and ive spent the equivalent of $120 on something i dont have and have no idea when it will arrive.

I thought i should have a tracking number and it took them 3 weeks to get back to me about it, and i had to send about 15 emails to get it done eventually.
 
NS should seriously revise their shipping....
not that it's in any way the same as shipping from canada to europe, but i just had a pair of skis shipped from austria to belgium for 20 euro and they arrived within 2 days of shipment...
 
Arrived today, looks so sick. XL fits perfect on 5'8". Mid thigh so short enough for casual wear but still baggy enough to take on the hill. So stoked. Will upload some pics of it in a minute. It's mint btw
 
3 months? As in one-quarter of a year? That is fucking ridiculous You can have a new car delivered, or complete on a house in less time.

I ordered skis from Poland, the other side of Europe, where the infrastructure is considerably worse, and they were here in a week

 
1-3 months doesnt mean 3 months. and if you read the thread it says that the guy got his stuff. he also chose the cheapest option i think. im pretty sure they had more options than just that but they were more expensive
 
Haha will i was still in verbier just managed to hop on the internet in time. There are other options for shipping, but if you want to pay 70$ to ship a 90$ hoodie you are an idiot. It was only marked as $40 though so no import duty. No tracking number is ridiculous however, please sort that out for the future.

 
Once again we don't run the shipping companies. Had you wanted it tracked it would have cost significantly more, where you selected the cheapest option.

Not sure how people don't understand that we don't set costs, times or features of shipping, we just use what is available to us.

My rant wasn't about NS, but about the shipping companies. I don't see how DHL or other huge companies, with fleets of aircrafts and distributors can still take up to 3 months to deliver a package. We supposedly live in a globalised world, where trade is fast and efficient. The fact that DHL charges $200ish dollars to ship a 20kg package baffles me. For an extra $50, I could get on a plan this afternoon, check the package in as hand luggage, and deliver it myself.

By I do think NS misses out. There is a huge, affluent European contingent of skiers who would love to buy stuff, but simply cannot afford the postage
 
On which note, I think it would be a good idea to try and find a European distributor, to slash shipping outlays

It looks considerably better than the other garbage Jiberish releases. Your right knee however looks like a balloon. Hope it heals quick.

On the note of shipping from North America. I've just had a pair of FKSs delivered from PA and it took 2 weeks, before Christmas I purchased a pair of Orage pants and a pair of Scott Fixs from WA and again they both arrived in 2 weeks. I have a pair of next season's ON3Ps on order, once they get around to making them and again I hope they will take 2 weeks to arrive.

The problem(s) are with ordering products is that:

(a) Unless the sender marks on the customs form as a "gift" the person it is due for will have to pay an additional VAT and handling charge, unless the item is marked over a certain value.

(b) It's NORTH AMERICA. It's at least 8 hours away via an airline...

Canada on the other hand is just completely retarded with their whole postal system delivering to other countries.
 
Thanks for the concern! I had an osteochondroma (bone spur) on my knee so they cut it out. Crutches for 4 weeks :(. It's my first piece of jib and I'm really impressed with the quality. I LOVE the leathery thing on the back. Doubt I'll buy much more jib since it's so expensive - this cost me £80 after shipping. That's $125. Oh well going to wear it everywhere, when i actually get out of the house...!
 
The more threads that have this point in them will probably mean that companies begin to sit up and take notice.

Only thing is Danny, is that they have to find someone to keep hold of the stock and then arrange it to be released to the person that is purchasing it from Europe. Maybe somewhere on mainland Europe to be a bit more centralised...
