Jiberish is starting to fade?

My aristocrat that i got last week is so sick HOWEVER, i have only worn it once skiing and the black stripe in the middle is starting to fade. wtf? I have not washed it yet either.
 
Holy shit. Same thing happened to me. I thought it was just mine that it happened to. All I did was run it through the wash once on cold, just like it says. I let it hang dry and I haven't worn it yet. I called Jiberish and left a message. I hope they get back to me. It's not like it barely faded either, it really faded. I'm disappointed since I spent $85. My Jungle Cat green is in excellent condition though.
 
Just put a little bit of vinegar in the washer when you wash it. This should prevent it from fading. So just remember that next time you get clothes with dark colors.

 
this happened last year with some of the hoodies, that's really lame that they didn't fix it... has anyone had any trouble with fading on hoodies other than aristocrats?
 
How can they, that one sold out SO FAST and is one of the most popular ones this year. I highly doubt they'll be able to replace them unfortunately.

My Green Jungle Cat went through the wash and a day of school and it looks like new. It even went through the drier for a little over 30 minutes.
 
wow it looks like you took that picture like a year after the first one, i am not going to wash my jiberish for as long as possible.
 
mmm doesnt look awful. i understand why your mad though. Other then the aristocrat i feel like the quality this year is so so much better then last years though.
 
your ass got faded. for real tho thats unfortunate. But i mean its not the end of the world. it was going to happen eventually.
 
true, except that when you pay $90 on a hoodie, you expect the quality to be much higher than that.

although i wonder id it's just the aristocrat...considering that the jungle cat didn't fade.
 
Of course it was going to happen in the future, but the fact that it happened before I even used it is pathetic. I washed it alone, just as I did with my Jungle Cat and I even let the Aristocrat air dry, yet I washed the Jungle Cat, ran it through the drier for 30 minutes and wore it to school today and it still looks brand new is what is pissing me off. Even if he can just trade me for another piece I would be stoked. How are the black crews doing? Have they faded?

to school many times.

at first i thought you were bitchin just for the sake of it because the the first pics it doesnt look bad at all. but yea, thats a shit load of fade for how new it is.

 
No. I'm not one to bitch publicly on NS unless it's a real shitty situation. I would have contacted them and that's about it.

Dude, I say rather than ranting all over Jiberish, give em a call. See what THEY will do about it. Newschoolers will not and cannot do anything for you. Pete has to be one of the coolest guys in the industry, soo hit him up.
 
yeah well mine got a rail stain the first day i wore it..most of it came out, and today some faggot in art decided a paint war would be funny....at least most of it came out and its under my arm so its not very noticeable
 
The first thing I did was leave them a voicemail and then proceeded to send an email. I hate when kids come straight to NS and bitch.

The black part is NOT screen printed. Only the sleves have the screen print pattern on them.
 
Doesn't seem like it. My brother's Level 1 hoodie has been worn a fair amount and washed and dried and it still looks like new.
 
Are you sure its not Black Screen Print? Not to call you out on it just checking.. cos the exact same thing happened to my armada hoody last year which was screen printed.. the black has faded and gone grey and I only washed it a couple times too.. I didnt realise it was a screen print until this happened either
 
Not screen printed, but It may be DTG printed, basically the shirt is literally printed with a DTG printer, and if its a low quality printer the blacks will fade, very fast. Ive had a lot of issues with DTG printers for some of my "prototype" shirts seeing if DTG would last, I opted not to use it.
 
do any other of the shirts fade like this? i just blew 84$ on a Morado and im scared its gonna happen to me too.
 
ive worn my morado at least 5 times already and it hasnt shown any problems so i think you are in the clear.
