fuck, tell me about it. I mentioned something about it on the floral print button up from last winter's (?) drop, and Pete went off. Dude sent me some long fucking essay's about how Supreme and Jiberish are nothing alike. Lolwut. At least Supreme just fucks you out of your money outright.

Not even that, Justin Norman and those dudes are sicks. One of the founders of Jiberish was a boarder to, Pete just moved on from caring about skiers and the input of this community. It's kind of a shame that Jiberish didn't stick with its roots, its identifying features, and that it moved on to become a street wear brand. Just like Supreme. They used to be a skating company, now. . . Over priced "street" wear.
 
I get that your "cool" and "hipster" for wearing it, but your opinion on style doesn't mean shit when they want to make money. You should appreciate they got their small company out there so they can make money.

this is what i dont understand about everyone complaining. If you had a company that started out as a couple hundred dollar order of custom shirts, and turned it into an extremely successful business, why would you stop expanding?

everyone thinks jiberish owes them somthing because they used to make more skiing related gear. no one is forcing you to buy it or look at it

a collab with woolrich is a pretty big deal. not to mention some of their patterns look similar to the old navajo blankets that have been selling for millions. I dig the whole southwest native american pattern deal.
 
shit, you can pick up a wool navajo style throw blanket for like 3 buck at good will, but then again you don't get the little tag that says jiberish on it.

why are they sold out? probably because they made like 15 of them total to see how they would sell so there would be little risk when introducing a new product into their market.
 
They were $249 for everyone asking. I actually think they are dope. I just would never consider dropping that kind of money on a blanket.
 
dont be scared of something you can pass down generations, unlike all those tall ts you spent hundreds of dollars on to look cool not even stay warm if you lose heat.
