probably going to buy a jiberish insulated flannel

any past experiences with them? whats the quality like? is the insulation actually warm? is it baggy enough to wear as a coat? is it ski proof... like will it get destroyed skiing in? whats the fit like?

if anyone can just let me know about them and answer some of those questions id really appreciate it

+k for good help, -k for hate and spam

I don't have a Jiberish insulated flannel, rather an Orage one. They seem pretty similar so I'll give ya my experience with the Orage Fud. It's super awesome for really warm days and with a nice tech hoody and a baselayer its good for days as cold as -5C, and with a vest it's good down to like -12C give or take a few. Super comfortable and I love riding in a flannel. And I've taken many spills and bails, even a few into some light pow/crud with it and it's holding up fine.

How the Orage and Jiberish flannels compare, I have no clue, but if there similar then you can definatley apply some of what I said . Good luck man!

The only thing that's shitty are the buttons. Most of them are fine but there is always one (usually towards the top) that will never stay or always come undone. Other than that they are dank and definitely worth it. SUPER WARM.

Look on Jiberish's website for sizing info

like i ski i quebec, canada. so its very cold here, would i be able to fit like an underarmour layer and a sweater underneath it?

If you aren't overweight I'd say yeah. Especially if you are planning on getting a bigger size

I have one from 09. The sleeves are shorter then they should be and the body is pretty long for each size. The pill really easily and its a shitty fabric (at least the one i have is) From experience they are windproof so its good to wear if you are skiing in a hoodie or something that isnt wind proof.

I have the Blue berry flannel in 4xl and wear it all the time. The fit is great, i can wear my dripset underneath it easily and by its self it's still pretty warm. I ski in it too and its held up really well to all types of conditions. The only down side is that the button on both cuffs came off, but it just took clothes pins and it works just fine.

i have an auburn in 3xl which is the orange one from 09. im 510 170 and i wouldnt where anything bigger. its width is legit but it is kind of tube like. fits great with a hoody. it is not warm at all though. i usually where 2 base layers and a hoody under it in 10-20 degree F conditions. durability seems all right but it does pill. just dont wash it

I think the new flannels are dope as hell. They dont have quite as much insulation as ones in the past, but are still warm and super light. And the buttons are fine in my.opinion.
