my only advice having seen the trailer is don't go TOO crazy with wacky editing stuff. Don't get me wrong it's cool but it can be a bit much after a while when it's overdone.

We just returned from a filming trip to Gormans in Golden. Dana Flahr, Colin Puskis and Dirt (on sled) killed it. Got some thweet shots of Dana and Colin shralping the last of the good snow and dirt dropping some huge cornices. We were fortunate to have Therese Lundgren and Dave Taylor shooting stills with us. I'd say that pretty much concludes the big mtn skiing for the Rockies, at least in Golden. We were up to 9000' and it was shorts and t-shirt weather. I'm stoked to here all the feedback on the teaser. I'm sure you'll be stoked on Disturbing The Piste too as we've got a great storyline and some solid skinizzling.

 
yeah i like the idea of the editing and it shows that a ton of time and effort has gone into the editing of that teaser but I felt like the constant panning and not making the skiing the center of attention bothered me. I buy ski movies for the skiing and some of the editing but not that much editing I hope the final isn't as progressive at editing because it feels more like a film student project than a ski film

ok my 2cents: skiing is rad of course blah blah as i would expect 2 to have. but the G-n-R welcome to the jungle was so so painful i wanted to mute it. then my girl from the other room said 'are you actually listening to G-n-R' and i said 'No, it's a ski trailer' then i just had to turn it off early cause the music was so bothersome.

so video = dope and the music music = real real real bad. too early 90's man. painful.

I think the editing is too much inspired from forum's True Life, but still the skiing looks sick
