Alright here is the scoop on the JPI.

We will have a public jib area. The mini stall wall, plus a rail & box, hopefully more, just depends on how the snow spreads out. We are going to put out as many jibs as possible. The jib area will cost a whopping $1.

The Rail Comp is invite only. Right now I have 15 invites out to some pros and some ams from abroad and around the area.

The set-up will be the staircases from last year finished off with a bus/wall ride. Red Bull is bringing in a short bus for the event, then will be branding it and placing it on the hill for the season. Eric has big plans for this thing. Ideas were dancing like sugar plums when E-Wald saw the picture of the bus.

For the movie we are showing "in Short", a snowboard movie, so I will watch while all of you catch up with you long lost winter friends. But first we are showing "Idea", the Eric Iberg film. Everyone I have spoken with says this film will revolutionize the ski film industry, so I guess that means it will be a sick, rad, way legit movie, but not banger, bunk or whack. (that one is for you Skimack).

We are hosting a B-Boy battle, Matt Connelly aka DJ Silver Boombox Thief will be spinning records, and the reps will be out tossing some much swag you will need a pillow case to take it all home, like Halloween candy.

The night before the Silver Boombox Thief/The Red Dawn is hosting a different movie premier at Zenbu. I know he is showing "yeah dude" and another movie. Should be good times, and it is raising money for a great cause. Boreal will be auctioning off a special prize too, but you will have to go Zenbu to find out what it is.

now you are just going to confuse everyone. it has been decided that banger is bad, and from now on I will only recognize it as so.
 
In your guy's defense, I checked urbandictionary.com and found that althought banger had two posts meeting the "whack" definition, the vast majority met you and Eric's "sick, rad, quick, legit, etc..." criteria. However, that does not mean I won't continue to use banger to mean "whack" that just means that it seems everyone else is more on track with the street knowlege that I am.

More on topic, the event sounds super sick. I'm counting the days. I'm also looking for an outfit that will somehow one-up my crocheted suit from last year which is looking to be a tall task indeed.
 
this is all so confusing. banger good banger bad. SKimack, I'm glad you mentioned the crocheted suit, now I know who you are. PS that suit was great and deserved a spot on Boreal's Pic 'o the day. This year your suit will get an automatic bid, just come find me.
 
haha, I don't think an outfit of that magnitude can be worn by me two years in a row. I'd happily loan it out for free to a member of snomotion R&D for the evening though. Kim, you're pretty tall, so you might even be able to wear it, and yeah it is super comfy and warm. I think I'm just going to go back to the low profile prep/emo/rockstar/40 year old/lumberjack/gangster steeze that I've come to know and love and which keeps me out of the lens of TV news cameras. Shit was waaaaaay too crazy last year.
 
The only time i use banger/hear it used it with filming and getting the shots. You put all the banger shots in the end of the movie/segment. In you're MackDawg Productions you may just have an entire movie of bangers. And, is it 3 grand winner takes all just for skiers, or is it for the whole contest? Like, are skiers competing against snowboarders and vise versa? Also, is Fuel putting up best trick money? how will it be distributed. It would be sick if they did it like Orage masters used to do, and just give out hundys for dope things. like "Wow.... that was really cool... here's $100". That way almost everyone leaves happy, and it just ups the competition level.
 
Orginally banger was being used to descride a photo, but then it became a big joke. and now I dn't know what to use banger for, so I am just going to stop using it.

The comp:

$3K winner takes all for skiers

$3K winner takes all for boarders

skiers v. skiers, boarders v. boarders

$2K given out in hundos for best tricks, it does not matter what sliding genre, just dedicated to the best tricks, and maybe a couple a bad spills.
 
Awesome! That's exactly how it should be, and it sounds like it's gonna be a great time. I'm even more stoked to come now.

 
No way, Rich Fahey is coming all the way from Utah for this?!?!? Man that guy is sweet, I love when he does that "post on NS 50 times a day" trick.

No disrespect, GrillMan, just thought it was funny it mentioned you instead of your slightly more famous friend...
