Jibassic Pro.

Its Saturday October 25th. Should be interesting with all he new snow making equipment. I'll definitely be there.

They WILL be having skiing again this year right? For some reason I heard a rumour saying that they wouldnt (something like they couldnt find a sponsor or some BS)

sorry. I have been slackin.

The event is set for 10.25.08. I am trying to get a sponsor for the ski prize purse right now, but as of this moment Liberty is not coming back on. Southwest Airline has come in to give some tickets as a prize but no cash. We will just have to wait and see.

Jibassic is pretty big, seeing as its early season and attracts pros..

i'm surprised you havent been able to get k2 or line or rossignol or something to sponsor it...

ok, just want to to let everyone know...

JPI.4 will have a skier class. I was not able to find a sponsor to pony up cash yet, still keeping the fingers crossed, but I was able to pull enough cash together from my budget to make up the difference in the prize purse. So, see you on 10.25

Dope!! i am definatly gonna go out to this again, definatly the most fun pre-season event last season

is there still gonna be a little Jib thing for everyone to shred on??

I tend to think that depends entirely on weather, and the use of the new snow making system. Maybe open by then? The JPI is late October this year.

the set-up will be different. Eric is building a new staircase with more and different rail options.

I am working on the invite list right now.

We paln to have the jib area again, but it depends on the weather, if we can blow snow or if we have to buy it all.

JPI is set for 10.25.08

i have also heard this rumor... if it is true, that is great, Dylan is one of the most talented skiers in Tahoe, and also the one who no one pays attention to, sponsors continuosly fuck him over. he deserves a break!

also, in my opinion, he should have won the past 2 JPI's

Sorry everyone that I don't come on here anymore and I see alot of questions about JPI.

If you guys check out www.borealterrainpark.com you'll be able to get the latest most up to date info possible about JPI and everything else Boreal Park related. Believe it or not there's updates nearly every day and it's still summer! There will be a big JPI post this coming week so dont miss it!

You can leave us comments about everypost and they are very much welcome and we will post a responce when appropriate ... just keep them clean or the filter will not let them through to the web:)

Slaughter and I are the only ones contributing posts but when winter hits, then several of our key park staff will posting as well so the content will diverse and immediate. I think you guys/gals are gonna dig it this winter and there'll be a mobile version so you can get it on cell phones while on the go cause like you guys are always on the go.

Until the snow flys,

E

well, it does not look like we will be open for JPI, but we should have a big, bad public jib area for everyone to enjoy. We have lots of snow to use, enought that I was able to cancel all ice for delivery and all scaffolding so everything will be done with snow.

wohoo!
