Jib Rocker= less catching on rails?

Yes that is true, but I've been told it helps with just standard edge catching. I don't see how this can be true though

yeah there is some truth to it, if you suck at switch ups it might help but idk if ive ever caught that bad so it shouldnt matter. dont buy a rockered ski just for that reason.

I feel like it wouldnt only have any sort of benefit if you did surface switch ups. i dont see how it would prevent catching on a rail if youre sliding is normally.

Cacthes easier, landing sideways on rails that is and doing swicthups. Just have to get used to it, de-tune edges properly.

Any hybrid ski that has camber underfoot is going to catch about the same on the edges as a normal camber ski as there is normal camber underfoot.

You want real catch free rail riding? Hellbents son. FLAT CAMBER all the way. Still catches landing sideways like any ski in existence but holy shit are they fun and easy to do surface swaps on.

its a really simple concept. by putting zero camber into the ski and leaving it flat through the mid section you can just smear the ski around without even popping. hence surface swaps are super easy. if a ski has camber it is more difficult to just turn without the camber getting in the way
