this weekend there was one at my home mountain, steele, niklas, and mike deschanaux came. to my surprise mike desch sucked my balls, he hardly ever made the complete c rail and his best trick in the rail jam was a 270 on to box.

is this guy overrated on rails???

he might hav partied the day before but i doubt it...

JL ratchel won.

what do you mean?, i thought mike desch was almost as good as steele spence and niklas karlström (they owned him) , but he wasnt even better than most of us skiers who participated.

so what do you mean not true. if you are a pro it should be for a reason...

all im saying is he did surprisingly bad, i thought he would have been one of the best.

peace

wow... micks was like the 1st skier with style.. blunts and rev mutes before they became popular, nice style before anyone

^^im talking about rails though, i respect him for his style and skill when it comes to jumps, but i was just so surprised at his rail 'skills'.

ive heard that hes an alcaholic(or at least drink much) so: skiing + hangover doesnt seem like a good combination to me

alrite man, i was hungover at the contest and it didnt stop me from acutally hiting a straight box fully shit man he didnt even manage that much. Im not saying he is a bad skier or anything but shit you'd expect a 2 time us open wining rider to be able to hit a box or a c rail.

I wouldnt expect a downhill world cup winner racer to do well in a slaom event or in a big air comp. Why would you expect some rails tuff froma big air specialist?

^because pros are supposed to be good "overall" skiers. But nowadays sponsors tend to give a lot less importance to rails. Anyway, MD might not have impressed you, but that's the same if you go to skateboard demos, you'll see like your favorite skater and he'll have a hard time kickfliping a 5-stair park set. Sometimes athletes have bad days.

^shusss your mouth cahrles .

dont try to tell kiddoe s that I,m wriong cause you'll have to fear my wrath!!!!!!!!!!

Bewareeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...................

O yea, and having bad days in comps sucks, or crashing for the first time of the day just before your actual comp run sucks too

Didn't one of the ccrew guys just come on here and state that you have to be good at all parts of skiing to be pro?

There is still some discussion on whether or not it was an actual C-Crew member (TANNER?!?!?111)... But what "CCREWSOLDIER" said was that a skier needs to be good all around, yes.

Dude if he does drink a lot it's totally understandable, I used to drink the night's before a few competitions and did so horrible. Let him do what he wants, maybe he was trying everything unnatty.
