there is being a comp/jam and Gorgian college on Octover 9th, its gonna be arena snow i think but any one who is anything will be there..... make sure ya'll skip school and go check it out

yeah I don't have solid details about price and times but I will in a few days. but basically it's gonna be a downkink, 5ft flat to 10-12 ft down, I think it'll be 20 bucks, you'll get 3 warm up runs and then 2 (i think) comp runs. 3 bands... and the prizes should be pretty good.

it's not so called, it's the ski resort ops project, they've gotta organize an event. hence jibfest. I'll make a new thread soon with all of the info but basically get there early on the 9th @ georgian college (exit onto duckworth from hwy. 400) it's already completely planned.

why not host it on a weekend, i think their will be alot better turn out! and you can get some help in hauling snow, and maintaining, more bands will come out, and at least a better variety of contestants, ull be dissappointed in the turn out because the majority of us are either in a lecture, or in a class... make a wise decesion, move it to the weekend will be hella lot better!

yeah I see what you mean, I tried to make it out last year but couldn't because of school. I guess we'll take that into account when it's planned next year. The turnout for people entering the comp was really good last year apparently. They were completely booked full of spots for snowboarders way before the comp started. If you were there last year it's supposed to be way more organized as well.

Registration opens at 9. the comp doesn't get going untill 11 I believe. there probably won't be too many skiers but come out and represent.

unfortunately the rail is locked up so it doesn't get stolen, knowing the second year sro guys they'd want to take it out for a 'test run'.

but basically it's a really wide steel rail 5ft kink to 10ft.

Apparently the inrun is going to be big.

um if anyone can get to woodbine race track (stacey) by 11 am. i can take you.. i only ahve 2 more spots in my car. and well we wouldnt be there till 12 soo. u wouldnt be able to compete.. but i can only drive ppl as far home as caledon east.

400 north to ducksworth exit (i think that's the name of the exit... it's the last exit in barrie commin' from T.) go south (right) and the college is on the left, find a parking lot somewhere on or around campus and walk around till you see shit or people who might know what's up... the college is right beside the 400, real easy to find.
