Dope. That's kinda funny there was a tie but two kids from here get to go so it's awesome. How was the setup?
 
the setup was pretty much the same, i dont think they changed the jumps much, all they did was move the c-box so it turns left
 
I was there , it was a ton of fun, one of the best days skiing of my life. and how was voting rigged?
 
nah Voting was just all the kids, the announcers hyped up some kids but ya. heres how voting worked

Each Group elected one kid to go to Finals, resulting in a finals of 10 riders.

then, the final 10 went and got 4 runs and all the kids decided who got 3 2 1.
 
i was a lil disapointed with some of the ppl who made/didnt make finals but its just the nature of how the event was run...................still really fun douche dumont threw some sick fronts off the knolls, all the pros killed it, free food, and we sent 2 kids to mamoth...way to go willi and willi!

Ah, I knew he was young. I saw a video of him at Windells once I think. How old is the other kid? What tricks can they all do?
 
tall willi is 16 they both got octos like none other, tall willi has cork 7s and 9s pretty good at rails too lil willi can throw 10s but hes like 4'9 so its easier for him and he can deece at rails for his age
 
idk if dutcher got robbed nathan is super good just as good probably. plus dutch already has a sponsorshop nathan doesnt. id say you and austin got robbed more than dutch but dutcher and nathan shoulda been in it for sure. the format of the comp is kinda messed up. austins sneak run was awsome thou ahah
 
well the format for picking people to go to the finals was kinda dumb because of your group of like 5-15 people you had to chose one to go to finals. so when these people we put into groups no one knew how good they were and such so the team with willi engelhard and austin torveraine was set for some hard feeling because theyre both extremely good skiers both of them far better than most of the other people in the comp but only one got to go and it was willie so austin kinda got robbed in the fact that he didnt even get the chance to compete. when he could have done extremely well. but congrats to willie he did well and hopefully will do well in mammoth.
 
basically the best skiers there were all in the same group. and only one could go to finals. when some kids in finals were doing sloppy penciled 3s over the thrird jump and skipping the other 2. will must be super stoked on his win. and little willi killed it as well. props to both of them.
 
on the bright side.

everyone who came out and signed up got Coached by one of the Pros... or Cody ahah, and got free lunch and dinner and the oppurtunity to chill with some dope people.

 
they just talked about jib academy on the news. but they showed stock footage of snowboarders... and the sound from Dumont's interview wasn't working, haha.
