the jews had no right to get that land, claiming jerusilam is their sacred city when islam, and christianity also have ties there. it really sucks for the palestinians that we kicked them from their homes just like hitler removed the jews from their homes.
The us wanted this because we gained an ally in the middle east, that is the only reason.

Actually, they have every right to that land, seeing that they are the oldest surviving monotheistic religion in the present day. I'm pretty sure christianity stemmed from judaism, and islam...

to clarify, they shouldn't have total priority, but if you want to use that as an argument, its a bad point to bring up.

how does that give them any right? they have the right to go in and kick out a bunch of fucking people because some book written by desert tribesman 3000 years ago says that land belongs to them? Thats fucking bullshit. If it was so important to them why weren't they fighting for it as strongly as they are now before the 20th century?
The only reason there is a jewish state is because jewish nationalist wanted to form a jewish state even before the holocaust happened, and it was originally intended to be, and still supposedly is a secular state. so why would the old testament have any standing or leverage on where and how it is created?

Now that I think about it, it doesn't really benefit them. I mean if there HAS to be some form of religious boundaries or rights to some "holy land," then they have priority (as it makes the most sense)
I think any religion is bullshit personally, and that it shouldn't determine any property or governmental decisions. Obviously it is a heated discussion for those that think otherwise. Like I said above, Just clear EVERYONE out and have several different denominations of churches from each religion have their place in the area.
