For anyone who knows someone with jet skis or has jet skis, just drop your experiences with them or your thoughts on them, performance wise. Also if you have Icelantic skis or knows someone who rides them, drop your experiences.

Every pair of jets I’ve seen irl look like shit and sound cheap as fuck

They’re made in neversummer at the same factory as icelantics.

i have danollies and they are without a doubt the best park ski I’ve ever been on. Every pair of skis I’ve owned (wet+, magnus 90, arv 96, and line chronics) I had my doubts about until I got icelantics. They are both soft but also surprisingly stable and poppy, they carve decent until the edges are beat from rails, and they are very durable.

definitely a very solid ski, ahead of their time

if i had arv96s my sidewalls would’ve blown out by now, but i have jets so they haven’t.

these jets might look like shit to you because they don’t ski like ass

Bout to make a petition to bring it back

I don’t have Icelantic or Jets but I have RMUs from when they were made at NS. They’re pretty solid. Good build quality and super fun

is there any actual difference between the build with both skis

You can legit call Never Summer and place an order for a batch of custom skis using pre-existing molds and models. I believe it somewhere around 200-300 per set. Not sure what how many you need to order, but its not a one off you will need to order a good amount of skis to make it happen.

That is all Jet ski did.

If someone were to go about doing this, do you know what the ballpark of how many you’d have to order is? And what type of molds they might have?

They’ll have molds that were made in the NS factory. You’ll definitely have to order far more skis than you would ever need in your life to make it happen. If I had to guess a number maybe around 100 pairs? Needs to be worth their time and money.

I remember seeing a picture on here of a pair of Jets after one season and they were completely destroyed underfoot, got a pic of yours?

ah yes the die cut bases do suck ass but ive never seen anyone have issues unless they're actually riding them on the street / ripped them on ropes for a few years

anyways it was about the sidewalls originally which look to be intact on this pair!

Sidewall and edges do be lookin' solid, you're right... no separation or cracks and these appear to have been through the wringer, pretty impressive actually..! But the exposed base is a real pain, West Systems G-flex can only do so much...

a little rough but this after a full year of heavy use, i’ll prolly get 3 or 4 seasons out of these.

These are my 2015 danollies that had who knows how many seasons before I got them, I’ve skied them hard since November hitting rails every run and a bunch of rope tow laps.

there were like 6 cracks and like 3 pieces of 1cm long missing edge which as I used them and because of the cracks turned into 5 missing pieces. I epoxied each 1 time and they’ve held up great.

durable ass skis my on3ps got twice as many cracks as I’ve added in half the amount of skiing

Icelantic are made in the never summer factory. I got the opportunity to tour the floor of the factory while they were working earlier this year and I was blown away by the quality control. My respect for Icelantic increased a lot after seeing the steps they go through to keep their skis quality.
