MY idea of a reality show is the fat olympics. Making EXTREMELY fat people compete in athetlic events and the prize is food. They dont feed them and the onnly way they can eat is by winning competitions. It would be very entertaining I think. -Ice-Is-Scary

Essentially, that is 23% of the population that has absolutely no problem with breaking down the wall which seperates church and state. It started to happen during Bush's first term, with those faith based initiatives, which used PUBLIC MONEY funneled through the white house to pay for faith based programs, many of which are not optional, but instead are assigned to non-violent drug offenders in an attempt to get them to convert and lead their wasted drug filled lives behind and love jesus. As for a 'commanding victory in the electoral college'.... first of all, no he didn't. If a candidate wins over 250, you can call it reasonably close... however, that means absolutely nothing with regard to the 'will of the American people'. Amazingly enough, it's possible to win the presidency (and therefore the majority of electoral college votes) with 30% of the popular vote, and with the opponent holding 70%, if those votes are located in the right places.

The very fact that this vote had the highest voter turnout of any election makes the Bush win all the more convincing. Despite the fact that the liberal minority is very vocal, they do not represent the will of the majority of the American people.

And I AM an American, I chose to live in Canada because of the higher standard of living here.

I find all this jabber quite amusing, as I have dual citizenship, I am both Canadian and American. I love both countries, and am proud to be a citizen of two best countries in the world.

But there are times when I am ashamed to have an American passport, and this election was one of them, listening to all the ignorant Americans, both left wing and right wing, not paying attention to facts and thinking that their particular point of view is the only one.

Hence why I am glad to live in Canada, where we can observe Americans with a kind of amused detatchment.

It's funny that people automatically label people who are guided by morals automatically as religious fanatics. I guess I must be alone here, cause I always thought that morals followed common sense. If it ain't right you automatically know it... However you can train yourself to tolerate it, and be conditioned by those around you to accept something that isn't right. I feel to many people are closing their eyes these days to what's right and what's wrong, it's easy to tell the differences if you're looking, but if you've been trained to accept what isn't you'll never know. To many 'enlightend' people today never take the time to logically think about morals and common sense and seem to accept what everyone else says at face value. Pretty sad...
