Pot can fuck you up, no argument there, but it's less harmfull for you than alcohol and tabbaco. And this isnt bullshit, we're learning about drugs right now in psychology and these were quotes from studies that it is less harmfull. But everything in moderation, if you take too much asprin it'll kill you but its not illegal. If you eat too much MacDonalds you'll get fat and probably die of heart failure or something. Everything can fuck you up. And people chill about the article i just found it funny and it brought a really cool perspective.

basically this is why pot is illegal.......Ok when people grow up and their brain is actually done matureing scientists have found that pot is no worse than alcohol. IF you smoke pot when your brain is still developing when you smoke it is easier to damage your brain. The make pot illegal because look at how easy kids get alcohol they think that if they legalize pot then kids will have easy access to it, this is stupid though. Kids already have easy enough access to pot. The gov. doesnt realize this though because they are all old.

The problem is that a lot of people who consider themselves pot smokers, verse people who consider themselves drinkers, use marijuana much more frequently than a drinker uses alcohol. A lot of people are recreational drinkers and drink on the weekend. Pot smokers seem to smoke daily. It also seems that the pot smokers have different priorities financially (buying pot), or actively (let's smoke pot before we do other stuff). Whereas you don't have that as much w/ drinkers.

 
Ok but consider this......People who smoke pot once a day are most likely addicted whether you belive you can get addicted or not and the people who are alcoholics just drink and drink constantly, if there not drunk then there out wasting there money on getting drunk. More people are alcoholics than pot addics so technically they are close to even.

Dude its totaly possible to smoke pot without having a problem wiht it, aka smoking everyday. Just dont use it that often, sorta like alchol. If your smart you can keep yourself from getting addicted

 
Well it also seems like out of everyone who drinks, the ratio of drinkers to alcoholics is much less than that of pot smokers to frequent pot smokers.

ski instructor, yea i know, im curious about it, and im not a huge ass anti drug. i think that it is alright to do it sometimes, and the gov does censor the fuck out of it. like 2 years ago i got the difference between drugs, before i had them all under one classification as like deadly. but the fact is, legalizing it will only make people do it alot more, and the gov will prob add other shit to it, jack up the price, something else

#1 - Making it legal does not nessesarily mean that more people will do it. In Amsterdam, there were less smokers after they legalized it.

#2 - no matter how much its taxed, it will still be a lot cheaper than it is right now.

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG. in amsterdam, it costs more than in the US it is jut very high quality and never skim sacks. also in no way will legalization increase usage. the reason so many people smoke is becasue it is easier to get an aounce of weed than to get a 1/5 of vodka, until you hit mid-highschool, when it evens out. in fact if the government was resonsible with legalization, then, the number of youth users would deminish and crime related to Weed would also fall. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA we win.

The whole illegal thing does make me alot of money. but it would be nice to see a standard of high quality Cannibas on the market, and not to be mean or anything to anyone who thinks they have HQ but NO ONE in the us has the same quality of Amsterdam, unless you know a grower that will let you smoke his PERSONAL weed. most growers grow for quantity not quality, then they grow a plant or two of AK, White Widow, Suger Leaf etc. it is almost impossible to find high quality buds on the street, with the exception to a few cities, the ones i know are seattle (still hard to find, but easier than most places) vancouver (2nd weed capital of the world). whereas in Amsterdam the low quality is very good and the high quality is super hightech hydroponic Spirit(of Amsterdam). this weed is very very potent and has a very stable high which is difficult to produce, gorwing weed is a very fussy project, if you do certain things, the smoke changes and potancy can go up or down and effects can change. just though i would let you know. An interesting thing to think about is, what if the govt. legalized pot, but put a tax on it, then they took the money that they get from that tax (which of course would be a TON) and put that right into fighting REAL problems, like heroine, organized crime, education, alcoholism, etc.

I may not smoke, but its just a personal preferance, I am all for legalization, its just the logical step. There isn't any real REASON for it to be illegal, its just tying up valuable resources that can be used for other things of more importance.
