Jeronimo's rocker

Im 5' 6" 135 and i probably ski 60 all mtn 40 park in the eastcoast.

I'm visiting a friend at boulder for a couple weeks so I'm looking for a ski that could handle the powder there but will still be manageable back here in the east. the on3p jeronimo sounds perfect and everyone here seems to love the idea but for those who have actually ridden it, do they shred everywhere like they look like they would? or does the rocker inhibit its groomer-shredding performance?

Also the on3p site says Tip Rocker: 23.5cm x 1cm Tail Rocker: 23.5cm x 1cm, but does anyone know the rocker size in k2 form like 5/30 rocker fujas (tip&tail 5mm off snow/ 30cm in) or 10/20 rocker obsethed?

and finally how durable are they cause i would definately want these guys to last for awhile.

thanks a lot

Sounds like a perfect Colorado ski to me. You can talk to iggyskier though since he owns the company.

Since an on3p guy will probably answer in this thread, what does the billy goat compare to? Is it kind of like an s7?
Sorry to post something not useful in your thread just dont want to make another one

if the rocker was to be converted to K2 style it would be 10/23.5
and yes it does do all that.
however depending on when you need them they may not ship in time. They are not expected to ship until late november.

It is simmilar in concept to the s7, however it is stiffer and has less sidecut to it, in order to gain some high speed / variable condition stability.

Preorder's will be shipped by the end of November, but you may get your skis earlier. As long as you arent ordering Billy Goats, we can probably get your order out with the rest of the presales.
As for the rocker inhibiting performance on groomers, the prototype I was riding much of last year was a bit bigger and had a bit more rocker than the production model this year, and even then, groomers were a blast. Its not at all like a crazy Hellbent rocker, the skis just dont chatter like that, which I attribute to the core material we use (bamboo). Overall, they really surprised me with their 'skiability' when not in deep snow. Then again, I've been liking wider and wider skis as the years pass.
Durability wise, the prototype from last year held up amazingly well, and we didnt even use real sidewalls (which we are doing this year, no more varnish!). Handcrafted production will ensure that every ski is up to our exact specifications and (rather high) standards of quality before we pack it and give it a tearful farewell.
And yeah, I do work for ON3P (in the factory right now), so yeah, I'm a little biased. But hey, any other questions, PM me, I'll be making the pair you are considering buying.

word, what's its flex like?

i have invaders right now and I would definately want something much stiffer which i know it is.

is it as soft as arvs or a little stiffer?
