Jeremy Jones innovating in Alaska

Basically, Jeremy's doing what has never been done with a film crew in Alaska. Usually, people go to AK, and just get heli'd around(Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to do this), but Jeremy thought, "hey there's so much sick mountains that the heli's aren't allowed to land on, why don't we fly out there, and then whip out the split boards and kill these huge peaks that haven't been skied/boarded before?" Sounds like it's going to be ton of work, but super sick none the less.Link for more info:

It's a great idea and I'm stoked he's doing it and eager to see what they come up with, but it's by no means an innovative idea. Different than the norm, for sure, but I've done it with a film crew many years ago and I know many others who have done the same thing: dropped by a plane on a glacier, camping, and hiking and filming lines. It's just that Jeremy's lines will probably be just a bit rowdier, as they tend to be.

Jeremy Jones is my favorite boarder by far. I remember reading something about how instead of doing taking snowmobiles and stuff into the backcountry he started using a split board and exploring all these crazy places in the Tahoe area that he would have over looked a few years ago. Sick dude for sure.

This kids got it spot on. Many other film crews have already done this off the top of my head Powderwhores did this like 1-2 years ago and it makes you really appreciate the work more when you know they boot packed the whole peak. Also they just did it because they are poor haha.
