anyone see Jeremy blooms punt return for a touchdown today in CU's loss vs CSU? Pretty good for an olympic mogul skier haha.

i saw that game, and yeah that was sick even though i don't like college football. football should be played on sundays, as should eating and sleeping and forgetting to do homework.

hey ski monkey, u'd be surprised what saying 'I'm a national freestyle ski team athlete' will get you.

That was awesome. Although I live in Boulder, and I want to cry right now.

CU's not going to be that good this year, our O-line is bad, and our WR's are really inexperienced. Miami is my pick to go all the way.

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

Well it was nice, but it couldn't hold down CSU, sucks to be from CU.

I just woke up to see that, pretty damn good athlete. I was kinga glad to see a skier gettin some attention and provin hes the shit but then again they scored against my school. We still won tho, Ive never seen a team advance the ball so consistently when they had to.

he had to lose his sponsorship so he could play football there. oh well hes a good football player, and hes hella fast.

if he goes to the NFL he will never have to worry about money...and i think he made the right choice by playing football because if he goes pro he'll make a lot more money then he ever would in skiing, and he can still ski in the football off season.

no he can't because his team won't want him getting injured, because in his contract he'll probably have to sign something that says he can't ski or something along those lines.

Its like this, it seemed to me (from interviews and such) that he was making at least 100K, some good money. Of course a lot of that went into training and travel but its still SWEET. Im sure hes still going to ski, maybe even compete, but its pretty crazy when you are a key player on the 6th ranked team in the nation, thats an experience he will never forget. Also, like other ppl said, he can get much more money in the nfl, and when he retires he can buy a house in Aspen, Whistler, Chamonaix...whatever. Personally I wouldnt give up skiing to play for my school, but I would probably give up the sponsorships.

its against NCAA rules to recieve endorsments while plaing on a NCAA team. even though it isnt for football he cant do it.

Just an example, I wouldnt want to live in Aspen either, just chill there for a weekend and ski the highlands. Its a sweet place for a little while if you ignore the stuck up ppl.
