Jen Hiel Just took Gold in Womans Moguls

awesome performance. not to mention the strong effort of audrey robichaud, sister of famous Newway Productions skier Robio Robichaud.

if moguls werent around then freesking wouldnt be around either. and how can it give skiing a bad name when its being broadcasted all over tv. Not to mention that most skiers start by doing moguls

its kinda sad how the best mogul skiiers in teh world do 360's in their runs.. but still sweet how canada won.

eric pollard never competed in moguls and he pretty much invented the twin tip and steeze in general

^dude shut the hell up

I was so stoked to see that she had a solid run and its so awsome to see a canadian getting a medal let alone gold.

yea, i think that they were too close to have score different by that much, she beat kari by like a point and it shoulda been like a tenth of a point

man some canadian like a month ago pulled a dspin 10 then a corked 10 he is dope are there any of like our kind of freestyle skiers going in moguls?

They kind of have to... First off they HAVE to land forwards... If you dont think so youre not very bright. And secondly I dont think a 7 would be very smooth, if its even doable on those jumps it would look soooo hucked. Im glad that inverts are legal this year though, should make the men's comp much better

Kari Traa (sp?) and someone else did a cork 7. It was smooth. I think that it looked better than the 3's others were doing.

i agree with you that Pollard is a pioneer. but he didn't invent the twin tip. Mike Douglas did.

Bumps 50% Jumps 25% Speed 25%

Id Prefer Bumps 40% Jumps 40% Speed 20%

it would make them try better jumps.

But I'm glad Canada won gold (I Guess)

Yeh fuckin sick performance from the canadian ladies, jen 1st, kristy 7, audrey 8, steph 12, all canadian ladies qualified for the final, couldnt ask more...

Now get ready for Alex Bilodeau to take Gold back home in the mens, with his Double Full and Dspin 10.

Bilodeau wont win....nor will he even podium. Dale Begg-Smith is going to win. Jahnne will podium...and Lauri will probably podium as well.

truth is Dale, Bloom, Lauri, Janne, Tapio, both travis, are all as good, they can all do the same jump, alone, its hard to tell who can take the win, as it really depends on how good their run will be, with Bilodeau, since he has a DD Way higher on his jumps, if he nails them, he gets perfect score for jumps, and starts with a few feets ahead of the others...

that is so sick that she won. WTF is with the hate? wasn't it Johnny mosely's gold medal in moguls in 98' that stomped a 360 mute which started the freeski movement and twin tips? yah Alberta/Canada whoop.

ok.. but just off the top of my mind i kinda doubt that a quad twister or any twister spread daffy combination will ever beet a D-Spin 10 or cork 10 which Billodeau can lay down.

Yeah so what's your point? Janne has one of the best cork sevens in the game, just because he did what he needed to win the last Olympics doesn't mean that's all he does.

The guy did a switch 10 back in 1999 in a big air event in Japan, before anyone had even heard of that trick.

Nobody is going to do any kind of twister combos except for maybe a couple of Americans.

Janne will be a serious threat, as will Dale, but my money's on Bilodeau.

if dale wins im gonna question what the fuck ive been doing in my life.

so hes an olympian, make millions on the side and drives a 2004 lambrogini...fuck him.

Murray Cluff (her personal coach) used to be one of my coaches. I think he's more cut out for being a personal coach though. He obviously did a good job. Ya Jen

^Andrew knows all about landing switch in moguls, today he did cork 5 in a mogul comp on scratch BC's.
