my 85 toyata with 5 inch spring lift cut fenderwells 37 ich krawlers locked front and rear with a marlin crawler!

i have done over 180 of the trails in moab including all of the 5+ and upper and lower proving grounds

total cost=4000

jeeps are overpriced because they say JEEP on them any moron can go build a tj or yj and wheel!

why the fuck would you want a nissan? they just are not worth the hassle!

i would take An xj over a nissan any day!

simple strong powerful whel better than almost anything and they are cheap to build!

zjs are really expensive to build into even a semidecen t trail rig they just arent made for it like the wranglers and cherokees were

the only offroad worthy car jeep crrently make si sthe wranglers and unlimiteds!

5.89 is not a good motor they have a lot more problems than the old 4.2 used to!

if you get a zj you might as well get a vw taureg and try to lift and wheel that its just not a smart idea!

damn man you need to check your sources, the 5.9 is reliable and you and even campare it to the 4.2L. It costs the same to build as a TJ, they both have esentailly the same suspension setup.

zjs are shit , i know 4 familys with for with less than 200k that have HAD to rebuild theyre motors! one of wich is a mechanic who takes amazing care of his shit! he sold said zj and now drives a cherokee!

i beat the shit out of my 87 and it ran forever!

4.0 is the only way to go with a jeep motor! minus the newer model hemis!

second zj suspension is similar to the tjs except the couls are way to soft will sag really bad the components arent as strong as a tj and zjs weigh a hell of a lot for their size!

zjs and xjs are close to each other in size only 500ish lbs. Tjs and Zjs have the same components besides the trans. i beat the hell out of my 4.0L it has over 200k and it runs perfect.

dana 60's on only 35 little overkill to me, but to each there own. what year zj is important my zj wieghs in at about 4000lbs a standard xj is about 3300-3500lbs depending on options.

when its on 8 inch long arms and 37 inch mtr/s, 1 ton steering and frequently visits moab, badlands, ect. i think it is wheeled

my jeep has 170,000 miles and still going strong. i love it. it's starting to fall apart so i had to replace some stuff but it's doing fine now.

i loved my jeep until tonight but i think i might be changing my mind on that one, since it peels out at 5 mph and caused me to get pulled over. just what i needed.
