anyone have one my nabor is selling his for 1200 its a 1990..i really like it but is the gas millage okay on them(its a 2.5 littre) are they a good reaible truck..it has 200 thousand kms on it..2 inch body lift.just like to no who elce has one and how they like them and especially the gas milage???

gas mileage is goin to be in the mid teens i believe and 200k is not that bad for a jeep. my friend has a 93 grand cherokee with 240+k on it and it still runs fine.

you cant put body lifts in cherokees, there a unibody, the frame and body is all one big pice, haha this made me laugh

i had a 93 cherokee. The biggest problem i had was rust and if you have a lift that means it will most likely have bigger tires which is bad on gas. Mine was a 93 with a 4.5 inch lift with 33's on it I was getting around 8 mpg so I felt like i was causing globel warming so i sold it last month and bought a bike.

In my personal opinion and experience, I find Jeeps to be pieces of shit.

My mechanic agrees.

Although, you are getting a good deal on it, but just remember;

The cost of the car will be nothing in comparison to the money you'll spend on maintaining it.

id pass, you can find a better deal on a newer one. the 2.5L is waaaaay underpowered for a wrangler let alone a cherokee. higher miles. maintance on jeeps is the same as with all other cars. you get one thats been taken care of, youll be fine, ifnot, you may be up shit reek w/o a paddle.
