Jed Anderson Full Part:

awesome. kinda disappointed he didn't have a seg with the VG crew this year but this definitely made up for it.

i honestly expected more but it was a really good part. sucks it got leaked to a shitty song though, woulda made it better to watch the og version off the bat.

the bangers start halfway though. imagine how dope this would be with all this done stept style, with tall shit and thug music and methods and less of those skating shots. i don't know what's so appealing about gritty and black and white footage

I'm glad it's not. As much as I love Stept, it's not what Jed is like, nor does it reflect his style.

I also see no problem with the skate shots, Jed is an amazing skater. You kids seem to have no problems with edits full of stupid partying shit .

I'm really sorry I usually don't let posts get to me like this but god damn you kids are dumb. if everything was filmed like stept then it wouldn't be anything special so go watch your thug skiers with thug music and let others do things the way they want to. everyone has different tastes but at least you can appreciate the hard work, amazing tricks and overall quality of an edit even if you don't like the style.

Jed rides for Airblaster and they are strictly slim fit, plus its a style, stept makes their edits like a piece of art, most snowboarders film in this this sort of skate/fisheye style now a days but if you want to see some thug steezy boarders watch Familia 2.0 by Technine.....dope af

of course i realize urban is a lot of work. and i am aware that these tricks are very ill. you said there wouldn't be anything special if every one is like stept, you're right but i wouldn't consider this special. tons of edits are like this, i am just really not down with this style

This. Jed easily had my favorite segment last year, and I ski. He doesn't look all thug because thats not what fits his style. He has more of a skate feel, and thats what his style shows.

That was incredible. I love Jed's style and his approach to urban riding. I'd like to see more ski filmmakers use the Super8/skate style filming and editing, you can only have so much perfect HD glidecam stabilized superslomo hovershots

Amen. I enjoy filming which gives you the feeling of reality. The skiing should still be enjoyable no matter who films it or what they film it on. If you need 1,000's of dollars of gear and and hours of computer work to make your trick look cool, something's missing...

What the fuck.....That's like one of the best parts about the edit. Skate style filming/editing is what's up.

that was awesome, everything about that was done so well and jed is one of the best rail riders out there. cant believe he did that dfd c rail switch

I agree 100%. I enjoy some artistry in filming and editing, and amazingly rich colors, and all of that, but...

I love me some fish-eye follows and no fuss, no muss simple and straightforward edits. I think TC is a perfect example of how the DIY, gritty, grungy style of filming and editing can actually add something. It makes it more relatable, more natural, and it sort of removes some the barrier created by so much artifice.

I like that both styles exist and I enjoy both in different contexts and in different ways, but the proliferation and saturation of the "overly produced" ski edits has started to wear on me, big time.

Red ledge pretzel was FUCKED UP.

Jed is a living testament to why I prefer watching snowboarding than skiing.

CHEEEEZE DIX!

He has a new company/crew thing now though. Can't remember the name, even though all my friends endorse it and there's stickers slathered all over Golden and Invermere

whoa ma god. Also, stoked to see individual segments dropping in the fall online. Change in standards
