I'm looking for any tips on how to make a regular pair of skinny jeans, into a somewhat acceptable pair of pants to wear skiing (waterproofing, making them warmer, etc.)

just buy these

i have had these for three years now.

why in god's name would you want to ski in skinny jeans? just find really really really skinny snow - p's. check out snowboarding brands.

orage axe pants. waterproof, nice looking, and have zippers to fit over your boot. just gotta beg mom for 200 dollars.

I can vouch for these being the best pants ever. I got them for like 100 bucks on evo, they are definitely worth saving up for

just take a pair of not too tight jeans and cut the leg vertically so you can fit em over your boot. Then put a few pairs of longjohns underneath so you stay warm. Mine wont even get too wet if i fall a couple of times. Definately not for the coldest weather tough.

ooh what might work is get the water and stain shield cans from vans, it protects canvas it should work on denim too.

this or chaffage, also you could probably use dwr (durable water repellency) spray on them, would be sick if it worked
