hondas are sick. they come apart easy, go together easy and are very affordable to modify.
theres alot of fanboys out there, but what you all need to realize is that a car is just a fucking car, i dont care if its honda or fucking bugatti, they are made out of plastic, steel, aluminum or composits and held together with nuts and bolts and a whole lot of stupid fucking push pins.
i work at a BMW specialty shop, we have alot of performance customers and while i like european cars alot i sure as fuck dont own one, they are simply too expensive. its not about having an audi or a VW or honda or anything, what matters is that you have a car that you are able to enjoy and have fun with. weather that car is an E36 m3 or 67 camaro if you enjoy it than fuck what other say, your car is no worse or better than anyone elses.
people who hate or have super ignorant fucking brand loyalty problems are usually just not worth the time to talk to or completely uneducated about the entire car scene.

there are the motor mounts for an h series swap in to an ek...the swap itself shouldn't be too difficult, but you're going to want to reconsider if you plan on lowering the car. one speed bump and bye bye oil pan.

let's all go ahead and just remember that the vast majority of VW/subacrew/vtec kids don't now and will never drive real race cars, so bragging about your cars would simply get you laughed at with real car owners. but maybe I'm just jaded because I grew up with my grandfather racing/collecting Porsches, and living so close to a track.

and that's not been my experience at all. i've got an uncle who collects & races porches as well and everyone i've ever met through him has never been a hater just because someone else builds a different car. in fact, most have been stoked to see younger kids sharing their passion of racing. most kids can't afford to build a porche, so they build something closer to their budget. that doesn't make them an less of a "racer" than your grandpa. that just makes you an elitist fucking douche bag.

a g35 coupe.. I completely understand driving one for the reliability, my parents own one. I just don't understand why someone would buy one to dump money into it unless they are planning on taking it to the track often. Seen way too many flashy civics and I just don't get it
