like trumpets/sax etc... with a beat and some good rhymes

not limited to just sax's and trumpets, but you know.

Check out David Axelrod's CD The Edge. You'll hear a song Dre sampled and some other songs that just freaking rip. Axelrod started the Jazz fusion movement that Miles Davis made famous with his CD Bitches Brew....

check out the Soulive cd "turn it out remixed". Soulives a jazz trio and this cd mixes thier songs with hip hop artists like J5, Wordsworth and J-live.

Yea thats real ill. Soulive does a track on the new J-Live album thats pretty sick. A couple of the guys from the band have started seriously solely producing hip hop beats. Some illll shit.
