Jay Peaks park

its not very good. i was there last week. they had 2 jumps. they weren't very big at all. 1 was like 10 ft and the other was like 20-25. there was an up flat rail, a trap rail, s rail, and an elevator rail in the big park. it was ok at best!

the rails there are very large but i feel like they are set up poorly. and I think its funny how they separate their rail park and their jump park, u cant hit both in one run. at least not as of a few weeks ago.

yeah its ok but not that well built. jump construction and rail setups are pretty hack but you can still have some good times on em. dont go to jay for park, go cuz its a sick place to ski trees. you can get sweet runs in hitting trees above then running through the park but its not the place to learn lots of new stuff, you're not gonna get nearly as many park laps in as you would at a smaller mountain or one with a dedicated park chair.

jay has been a dissapointment in terms of park this year. I hope they get it together for the end of the year so i can go there once burke closes.

yeah, jay is definitely a go there for the snow, not park mtn, but stowe is twice the amt for a ticket...

yeah thier park has been worse this year then in years past ....hopfully they will have a nice setup for the battle for burlington

i hear that they get hardly any funding for the park because the owner is not down with it. also their groomers and the park crew dont really get along i guess, so stuff never gets done.
So yeah, i wouldnt go to jay just for the park. great mountain otherwise, i ski there all the time.

i should slap the thread creator, you don't go to jay peak to ski park, especially since they just got 2 feet of fresh snow thursday night, but seriously i should slap you

jay doesnt have a nice park.. you go there for the mountain and all the snow that they get, not the park..

i think he is refering to the post that was like "its still fun to hit up tho"

obviously the kid knows that there is good woods skiing at jay, it doesnt take genius or 30 newschoolers to relize that. the kid just wanted to know what sort of rails and shit there might be, so:

they got a couple tables, an s rail, a battleship rail, and other various features that suck

Yeah dude thats what im talkin bout.....dude i shredded the gnar when i was there.....aint no reason to hate i just wanted to see what they had.....obliviously i wasnt going there for the park.....

i gotta say, the kid obviously knowsthat jay peak is not welll known for their park and that hes going for some real skiing. he was just curious to see what their park was like, its not the basis of his trip tho.

just to let you guys know its not a powder day everyday at Jay so when the woods are not that great its still fun to have a nice park. Jay does have a park crew of with 2 people working each day but they are all snowboarders. They are gonna have thier new flat down for this weekend also.

park is decent right now, flat down box, then rianbow rail or up flat down flat box, then a couple jumps then some little rollers oh, and an s rail. the little park at the bottom of the flyer is kinda fun i guess after doin a run down

yeah they are keep the setup they had for teh battle for burlingon. I also heard they are staying open till march which is sick
