jay peak

I am going to jay peak this christmass and was wondering where the best spots for snow and steeps are. I know the face ant tuckerman chutes look pritty nice, but are there any secret stashes of snow that i wouldnt get myself lost in the woods trying to find?

far skier's left. can't remember the trail name, but its dope, you can get lost out there in the trees and pow. super fun.

BBP fo sure, keep going skiers left once you get into the beyond beaver pond glade and you are golden.

Canyonland and Timbuktu were epic last week. There is good snow and terrain everywhere. Just go explore and you won't be disapointed.

Dope.

follow the locals. There are a ton of unamed glades that are ripe for nice thigh deep pow. on goat run, right as you come under the flyer turn skiers right into those woods. they are called Vortex...actually that would be lower vortex, ud have to hike to get to the upper part...but careful watch out for patrollers. theyre bitches this year and will take ur pass/ticket.

oh and on a more serious note...3 people have been seriously injured at jay over the past 4 weeks.

a racer slammed head first into a tree and when the patrollers found him he was bleeding out of his eyes and ears....hes in a coma right now.

a patroller broke both his ankles attempting the racers^ rescue.

a 21 year old ran into a tree and DIED. they were giving him CPR on the hill.

so be careful...watch out for ice and mind closed trails!!!

ive never been there but it sounds pretty dope. is there enough 'real' backcountry to actually build a money booter?

*Welcome to the dub ski radio show*

idk but i was talking to these guys on the tram there once and they were saying how they were going to drop this 50 foot cliff

'You've got to run like an antelope, out of control'

if you want a back country kicker go out west...you want to drop a 50 foot cliff go to big jay. you want to drop 10-20foot cliffs go to staircase, to the left of the flyer....there is about five 10-20 foot cliffs in a row and when it snows enough then you can drop one after the other...like a staircase.
